My new love. :)
She is bone stock right now. Tint and clear rock guard asap, along with some smoked side markers to get rid of the orange. Rims, coils and exhaust next spring.

I got this little bugger for my birthday when I was 17:

21n16wo.jpg

I'm 21 now and I feel like I've literally come of age in this car, haha. This is the car I started track racing in, got girlfriends in (chicks dig the blue seats), got arrested in, successfully evaded the police in... all sorts of things proper teenagers do. Now that I'm older I just take it to the track :p. I've babied it as much as I could, but I've still spun it/ditched it etc.. Every time I take it in for service the techs laugh and tell me something along the lines of how nice it is to see someone "treat an M3 the way it was engineered to be treated" I love it :).

Seeing it makes me really miss my '05 Carbon Black/Cinnamon :(

NIce M3, although I never really warmed up to the Laguna Seca Blue exterior or interior (sorry).

So at 17 you were handed the keys to a $50k+ car and you just beat the piss out of it, run from cops, get arrested (you're cool bro!), and put it in ditches and spin out in it, causing possible injury/death to people while you think you are too cool?

I'm impressed.

Sorry I'm not impressed by a rich kid who endangers others on public roads.

If that gets my posts voted "down", then so be it. Sorry I don't want me or my wife's lives endangered by some kid who thinks he's above the law and invincible, and gets arrested for acting like he's hot stuff and having daddy bail him out.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Haha, don't be so so quick to judge. At least ask the person me what I was doing with the car before you berate me. Here's the back story:

I never "ran" from the police, I avoided them by driving down a deserted country road (that I had been driving since I had a license) near my house after I accidentally went through a spot check and a cop pursued me for all of 1 minute. I don't know a single guy my age who lives where I do (in the bushes) who hasn't done the same.

I got arrested because a suspect matching my car and description was accused of attacking someone and fleeing in a black BMW (mine is dark blue...) so they took me in. An Officer drove me back to my car. I was also given a grilled cheese sandwich because my parents were out of town so I couldn't be "released" to anyone so I spent the night in a holding cell. It was pretty terrifying considering I was 17, I consider it one of the most important nights of my life, haha. I wasn't acting like "hot stuff," I was sitting at a red light when a police officer signalled for me to leave the vehicle. Have I acted like "hot stuff" before on roads? Yes, but not when anyones life was in danger except my own.

I genuinely hope you stop being such a judgmental dingleberry. Obviously, I drove the piss out of the car. It's an M3 and I was 17 -so I took it to the track every weekend. My father (who bought me the car) wouldn't have had it any other way. He used to take me to the track, and he would go round in his F430 and I would chase him to the best of my abilities. That's why the car is so special to me, those memories. There are ditches all along the side of the track, so when you run off you end up in the sand. It happens. If there is one thing I can not stand it is people who buy fast cars and never drive them (fast) anywhere.

I owned a silver G35 Sedan with the Aero (sports) package for 4 years. Got it brand new in late '03. It was such a nice car, and so much fun to drive. I fell in love with it on the first test drive. It was way more car than I was expecting.

Enjoy the G37x!

Drive that M3 like it was meant to be driven. Right on!

Roger! Just got back from the track actually. Got a chance to really push a 1M coupe. It felt much more like the E46 M3 than the E92 M3 did. I find that the E92 M3 got a little too fat (it still beats the competition and handles like a pro, but it just feels like much more of a grand tourer than the M3's of old) and it's nice to see a BMW that retains the knife edge feel of the E46 and maybe even the E30 .

What interests me about you, is that my name is also "Spencer S" and I also like BMW's. Are we the same person?
