Nice car.

I drove a 2012 Mustang GT this weekend. I'm starting to think I really want one of them now.

Trying it a bit more, the power delivery is still not that of the Challenger or Camaro, it feels more like what I'm used to, with the power coming through higher in the rev range. I would still need to test drive a manual if I can, because I wouldn't want a car like that for several years with an Auto box, just seems counter intuitive.

Took my wife's little cousin out in it and he loved it, but what kid wouldn't!

Only problem would be fuel costs, but it will basically be a weekend car, but then if it's a weekend car, can I really justify the $25,000-$30,000 car loan :s

You seen the refreshed 2013s? They just went live on Ford's site two days ago...just when you thought they couldn't get any more beautiful, they did.

I own a Camaro and a Mustang but I'm a Mopar guy, but FTR, the Mustang GT and Camaro SS should more or less wipe the floor with the Challenger RT...pretty much every road test leaves the RT quite a bit behind due to its weight penalty and substantially less power than the Camaro/Mustang. The Mustang/Camaro are more or less neck and neck but they should clearly outperform the Challenger both in straights and turns. Either way, you can't go wrong with any of the three...all great cars IMO. I do think though that the Mustang is the all around best car and by far has the nicest interior, but to each their own.

Beautiful cars, maybe Santa will bring me one this year. :p

Until that happens, I'll stick with my little buggy which happens to be paid for!

Damn, I need to find a new career. This reporter's salary is gonna keep me in my old-ass used Prius. I'd love to afford a nice Ford Ranger and the $4/gal. gas.

I'm thinking very hard about getting something like a Charger R/T. Only problem I'm seeing is online Insurance quotes are coming out as much as the payments on the car would be! Sucks that I have to start my driving history all over again because the US doesn't seem to recognize my clean driving record in the UK.

You sir, SUCK. :)

And I mean that in a jealous, OMFG I want a Raptor too, kinda way.

Thanks! :)

I've owned a ton of different cars and trucks (STi, S2000, G35, '68 Chevelle, Titan, etc) and this is by far the best of bunch. The on and off-road handling is fantastic. I'm truly impressed.

I rarely see one on the lot. I think they last less than a day before they are sold. Love it!

I work for a company up in Canada, and was visiting the offices last week. There's a Ford dealership in Barrie ON that has about a dozen of these in the lot, along with about 20 GT500's.

Took a look at the sticker on one of the Raptors....holy shmoley....$65k Canadian....

You're tellin me. They are about 55k down here, give or take. Trucks are way too expensive. The truck I want costs that much, the GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. Just way too much.

If you can find one sitting on a dealer lot you're going to have to pay a premium. I ordered mine from the factory and although I waited a little over 13 weeks to take delivery my OTD price was "only" $48K (w/ NAV).

Does anyone actually believe these computerised MPG meters?

I have one in my car (Ford Fiesta) and when I actually measure it manually I find the two numbers are quite different.

The way I measure is that when I need fuel, I fill the tank up completely and take the mileage since the last fill. I measure how much fuel I used against how many miles I did to come up with the MPG. It never matches the number my car says, even if I reset it at the same time as the trip computer in the petrol station.
