My car's virgin track day was today (driver's too), at Buttonwillow. Dayyum that was fun.

Looks great! Which layout did you run?

Thanks. We ran 1 clockwise. Tough spots for me (and most people in the D group I was in) were Off Ramp and Star Mazda, since you have to dive deep into the turn while braking before initiating the turn. I also had a mental block on the kink between Bus Stop and Truck Stop. The best path through that seemed to be to hit the berm at the apex of the kink (to the car's left), then letting the car drift out to hit the berm at the exit (to the car's right) without lifting or braking. My car was more comfortable with that move than I was, although I did manage to do it right a few times.

...and it was hotter than crap.

Love the color!!!(gotta have it green?) Such a unique color. Ive always wanted a mustang but there it a ton of them driving around my area. It seems like any teen or anyone with 20k has one. I would definitely shell out the extra cash for a 5.0 or a little extra more for the gt500.

Panamera 4S. Just upgraded from my old NEX-5 to an NEX-6. I'm not a great photographer and I don't pretend to be, but I think these turned out alright :)

Completely untouched, taken in Superior Auto mode.

Thanks! Yes, the choices were the 5.0 or another vehicle. Wouldn't be able to settle with the V6.

Love it! This is also my first American car I have ever owned and have been extremely satisfied thus far. From order to delivery took about 8 weeks. I haven't done any mods because the car is pretty much exactly what I wanted. Would like to do some suspension mods but its still so new I feel like I'd be wasting my money.

1991 ZR1 love this VETTE

It took me 4 years to build, it had only 4300 orig. miles when the fire burned the house down, ( fiberglass burns.........FAST). Worked with CORVETTE SOLUTIONS in Rocklin, CA to get the car pieces ordered from Chevrolet and did ALL the work myself.......love this car!

Every time I see pictures of American number (license) plates I cringe. They all look so awful and they're always surrounded by a bunch of free advertising for the dealer.

In the UK the dealer usually puts a sticker in the rear window and that's about it. The first thing I ever do if I get a car is get rid of that sticker. If I had that Audi I'd be either replacing that surround around the number plate or painting over it. It spoils the look of the car IMO.

That's a shame to hear about the fire. But great job getting it fixed back up and right! Looks great! Must have been a lot of fun doing the work yourself.

UK number plates are worse IMO. Just because of the different colours.

Also if we talk custom number plates, the price of custom number plate in the UK is just ridiculous. If you want 4 letter number plate with a space in-between you have to pay £80.000. In my country, It is around £2.000. And believe me, that is not much. I had that much lying around when I was 16.

And if we speak number plates and which of them ruin the car - all of them do. Doesn't matter which, UK, US, Russian - whatever.

Oh... those are so easy to remove. Took that advertising frame off my car within 10 seconds of bringing it home. I think it's much worst when the dealer puts a decal on the car, like this.

They come off, but they are much harder to get off than a tag frame or sticker on the window.
