Your girlfriends place
That's a nice build, how much power is it putting down on e85? And I'm just why didn't you go for the full gusto and get the abarth?

It's at 262 whp 260 wtq. The top end is slowly being opened up. Next tuning date, it should hit 270-275. I didnt buy an Abarth because I knew I would end up replacing any of the bits that are upgraded in the Abarth. These come with the same drivetrain but at the time, the price difference was $8000 in Canada. I figured 8k would put me well ahead of an Abarth. These are 100 lbs lighter too.

I bought a new car. It's a BMW 1-series (MY2013) with M package, leather seats, xenon and sunroof etc
Very pleased!

The car was with Ground Control last week for use as a development prototype for camber plates and coilover conversion kit for the Mk 7 chassis. I just got it back home yesterday, and gave it a wash and took some photos of it this morning. The car is now running 2.5 deg neg camber in front, and is dropped an inch and corner balanced on 475# front/650# rear springs. I have DCC on my car and wanted to retain that functionality paired with some of the benefits of coilovers. I am really looking forward to my next track event at Pahrump the first weekend in April. I'll be doing a couple of autocrosses before then to get a feel for the changes in a controlled environment.

Ground Control should have these products available for sale fairly soon.

Love the golf R. Briefly entertained and even convinced my wife to go look at it.

It's a great little car. It has a very low key presentation, and it's very practical as a daily driver. Plenty of room for 4 people, or if you drop the back seats you can carry 2 people and lots of stuff (I'll be packing my track wheels and other assorted junk back there when I go to Spring Mountain). And, it goes like stink. I've done 9 track days in the car and it can hang with some pretty fast company.

Yeah I bet it's fun especially with a tune and some bolt ons. In the end it was impractical for us.

A forbidden fruit for my US friends ;-) I hope you like it. Got it a week ago. A 2016 Honda Civic Type-R GT in polished metal with the carbon interior package.

Pretty much ready to jump on one once they, or their slightly down tuned version, are out in the US. My only real problem is the infotainment experience, but that should be ok with car play. I'd like to see it with a DSG type trans too since my wife prefers not to drive a stick.

As you may know this is based on the "old" 9G european Civic but already fitted with the new 2l 310 HP turbo vtec engine and it goes like hell!

asked them, but this has the 5 cylinder turbo. i was told that there was no polestar tune for this engine. also looked at an R-design which had the V6 turbo and polestar tune, but it didn't have the interior we wanted and i like the fender cladding on the cross country. thanks though.
