It is azteK mind you. Insults from someone who can't spell don't really phase me.
Naw, I know about 98% of the population thinks its ugly. But its us 2% who like them, and cause them to grow on our friends, and spread the likers. My selling point: once your inside you can't see the outside.

I will be brave enough to admit that I am also one of the 2% that think the Aztek really looks cool, I fell in love with them backwhen they gave one away on Survivor.
That being said I think I am also in the 2% that thinks the Scion XB is uglier than sin.

I have mixed feelings about the aztec - on one hand, I don't think it is a very attractive car - especially two-toned.

OTOH, I remember reading about all kinds of novel features, especially regarding the tailgate - such as a camping package (iirc) that hooked on the back. I am afraid I can't remember the specifics, but I do remember being impressed by the creativity and utility.

Just got this on Friday.

Very nice MPW. I had a black 2.2L diesel version of the new civic for a few days and it flew between 2700-3500RPM. Really enjoyed it.

also - in that red colour scheme and from the front profiles there, it looks a lot like the Type-R version. Quality.

I apologize for misspelling the name of your beloved car.

At least it is not a Rendezvous. (<I can spell that ;))

There are some cool European hatchbacks that I wish we could get here. Very nice, MPW.

We're currently trying to decide between a Civic Hybrid and a Prius, and since I have owned three Hondas and Toyota dealerships are seling Prius' over list, it's not hard to guess which way we are leaning. :)

I'll post a pic of my Civic tomorrow - my third, this one currently with 100,000 miles.

I'm currently in the process of ordering one of these, the 2.0 litre version.

I fell in love with it the first time I saw one back in 01. I told my dad that someday I was going to own one. And look how it turned out.

I do like the XBs, but the Element is the ugliest thing ever.

Naw, the 01 two-toned was rather unattractive. And they do have a lot of versitile options, such as the camping package. You can get an airpump to fill your air mattress, or bike tires, or tek tire I guess. They have the very verisile roof rack. The camping package tent is an extention of the tek, although, I'd never own something that ugly......[here it comes..]

OT: as I type my sister is ordering her MacBook 13". First mac for the family. My mini won't be too far behind.

That's a fantastic looking car mpw! Just wondering what you think of the ride quality? I've read in a few reviews that its a bit tough. What do you think?
First impression is the ride is over-firm but it really is very comfortable. The problem seems to be that there isn't much sound insulation so you hear a lot more of what's going on both from the suspension and engine, but not the road or wind??. It's not really a problem though as the petrol engine sounds good for a 1.8four and the suspension only gets noticeable over speed bumps and potholes.

How do you mean you can hear the suspension? Didn't actually know suspension made sound. Is it annoying?

You can hear the car thumping across potholes more than you can on a new Renault Clio, which has a great ride. It's not annoying that bad but it is noticeable especially as tire/wind noise is well suppressed.

The Rendezvous is the better looking of the two. It should of been what the Aztek looked like. On the behalf of GM, I apologize for the blunder of the Aztek and the CSV Minivans(Uplander and its rebadges). Those vehicles are the worst vehicles GM has ever made in recent years. Thank god one of them is already dead. At least the Pontiac variant dies this year as it isn't apart of Pontiac's "performance" image.

SOME of us like them though. No need to appoligize to me.

Here's my car (updated pictures). It's a 2000 Chrysler Concorde.

I just had the bumpers repainted (some paint was chipping - I purchased it like that from the pervious owner), had all badging removed, and had an additional clear-coat applied. Looks awesome. I'm thinking window tint too.

that's an old picture of me and my 2001 passat...

it's quite a nice car, actually. the turbo and the tiptronic transmission make it one heck of a ride.

Nice Indigo Blue Passat :) .

I have a same color 2000 Passat Turbo pictured in this thread too. You can enjoy the turbo even more if you get a chip for your car, an additional 50 hp, and 100 lb/ft of torque for your nice German sedan :) .

vniow, you forgot the third redeeming quality - space for two (or more) in the back.
It's only a redeeming quality if you don't mind driving people around :p

One of a couple of things to be putting a smile on my face, got my new car! *dances about*

Honda haters, ****. Thanks.

<snip>
How'd you like your new car now you've driven it a bit?

Two things to note about my Honda that I'm a little dissapointed over is;
1st - The light weight feel to things like the door handles and body, they work perfectly and are very well put together just 'feel' a little light weight or thin, but NOT flimsy.
2nd - The engines again really well put together and the gearbox is a joy to use but I'm using the gearbox so much more than I'm used to due to the lack of torque. This engines has to be, and loves to be, kept revving.

There's a very good chance I'll be picking up a considerable cash bonus later this summer and have put the S2000 on my List™* just looking for an appraisal on how it drives.**

* Aren't wish list great? Hmm S2000 or MX5 or SpeedTriple or MacPro Quad and dual 30" ACD's or dump the wife and take DCV to Hawaii (tell me that offer doesn't bump me up her's(her list that is))
** Just how it drives, I'll trust the styling to myself or others thanks e'
