I drove my uncles 2005 Altima 3.5 and I notice a lot of torque steer and I haven't even driven many cars in my life. It really needs to be AWD or RWD.

I also noticed that even the lightest touch of the pedal makes the car jerk forward quickly. Then again I am used to driving big hunky SUVs. My dads discovery you have to push the pedal pretty far before you start moving quickly, its so that you can have more control when driving slowly off road and you are driving over obstacles.

I wish it was RWD using the 350z's drivetrain. That would be awesome.

I'm taking my test in about 6 weeks - got my theory next week

Anyway, my Dad got me a car as a surprise about a month ago - its in the shop a.t.m having a few mods I wanted, should be done by the weekend, so I'll post pics then..

Good luck! :)

What car have you got, or is it still a surprise?

Prepare to be.....................bored!!! My car is dull and extremely common. But it's my first one and I love it. Had it for 3–4 months now. 1998, LE, 4 cylinder. I originally wanted a compact (like a Civic) but I literally cannot fit my legs under the steering wheels of most. Happy I went with something a little bigger anyway, the size is proving to be most practical.

The "sage" color does mask dust (which there is a lot of around here) very very well. There are some scratches put there from the previous owners too which are nearly invisible.

As much as I would like one, it doesn't have the kickass suspension package that the SE-R has. I'll take the FWD and the better suspension. =D

Yeah because it's real hard to change the suspension setup :p

My mother drives a 2003 Volvo S60 T5 and I drive a 2007 RX350 or vise versa, doesn't really matter which car I drive out with friends/go to work. I really want a 2005 Range Rover Black ext Tan int, but that won't be happening anytime in the near future.

My dream cars - Porsche 1989 944S & 2005 Range Rover

Why would you drive a car thats 3-4 years newer than your mom's volvo.

My neighbor has a 2005 Maroon Range Rover HSE with a gray interior. Lucky bastard. He should have gone with any color but Maroon if you ask me. I myself am partial to silver or white ones with white seats, black seat piping, and black carpet.

Here is a pic of my car...it is a 2002 BMW X5 4.4i. I am about to trade it in for either the '06 Range Rover supercharged or the '06 M5

Isn't it true that these aren't actually 4x4. I saw one towing a boat out of the water on my local beach, and it practically buried its wheels into the sand. I wasn't too impressed. Or is it only the British version which doesn't have 4x4?

They are AWD meaning they have no low range 4WD making them not a real suv.

They have HDC (Hill Decent Control- stolen from Land Rover) but no low range to make it back up the hill they went down.

No Low range for towing anything.

They only come with sport tires ideal for on-road only.

They are really an all show on-road vehicle.

The KE55 coupe Pt.2

It's a 1979 Toyota Corolla KE55 coupe and Yes it's a cooner/padock basher/rally thrasher or whattever you want to call it. It's straight, runs very well, doesn't leak oil or water, however is full of rust. It is also registerable in South Australia.

Mods so far:
Stripped interior
spooled up diff
Corona mags (I think)

Mods to follow:
1 coil to be out of the front springs (lowers and stiffins)
turn the bottom leaf at the back upside down, and clamp on top, (lowers and stiffens the car)
1.5" to be cout out of each guard (rust removal and guard clearance,) then flair the guards
Rattle can Matt black paint job.

It's light and quick, (well for a 4k,) only thing left to do the the interoir is remove the heater core and this bizzar strip of metal.

Enjoy
Jordan

Gosh, I'm drooling over the NSX:) . Lucky man there, especially to have a wife who also is a car afficionado. BTW, the NSX pic couldn't possibly have been taken anywhere in Florida....a bit too much elevation I'd say;). Cheers
