Evidently its not the latest V10 version that he traded in. You'd have to be out of your mind to exchange the newest M5 for a CLS (although I do think its a fantastic looking car!). As for that M5, white is just wrong

My baby... 1993 Mazda MX-6 2.5L V6. Pics taken with the iSight on my macbook:cool:

I can't believe there's a 93 Mazda MX-6 that still runs. Looks like it's still in good condition too.

My friend's bit the dust in 4 years. Have not seen one on the road since.

What year M5? The V10?

Nah, thats a 2003, with the 4.9 liter V8, bumped up to about 452 hp, up from 395 stock.

Of course, not really close to stock as you see. All Dinan bodywork. Also includes Dinan cold air intake, high flow throttle bodies with velocity stacks, air flow meters, headers, exhaust, 3.45 limited slip differential, free flow exhaust, and stage 2 suspension. Lastly a Brembo big brake upgrade. Badass.

Just sold it, sad to see it go. But this CLS55 will prolly haul even more ass than the m5.

test drove both of them. really like the feel and styling of the CLS much better. also, you see much less on the road, which is nice. defintely worth the extra 5 grand. the white was defintely an experiment. i really dug it, cause all you would ever see was black and blue m5's.

Nice I'm loving the rides! Especially the maxima. Are you on maxima.org by chance?

Oh, yeah! Just look for Zagato27. Don't be confused....there is a Zagato27JR....my son:D

BTW, the Max picuture was taken before my son and I installed H&R's and Tokico Illuminas. Max sits bout 1" lower and looks and rides fantastic!:D Cheers

The CLS is quicker in the quarter mile! Trust me, drove em both.

The CLS puts out 470 hp, but has 120 lb/ft more torque on hand, that is what pushes it over the top of the m5. I really didnt like the SMG on the m5 as well, although supposedly they have a 6 speed coming by the end of the year.

I see you've read motor trends review... :p

what were your 1/4 mile times? trap speed? care to scan the time slips?

I don't know why I took this picture or why am posting it but this is our local Rovership (45min away, it used to be 20 but then they HAD to get an off road driving course so they moved). They finally have more than 10 land rovers.

Oh Yea, I would like to point out how many garages there are there :). The Volvo dealer has 4.

This maybe so, but I wouldn't want to put up with the lousy reliability of the Mercedes, especially if you could choose between it and the M5. I'd bet the M5 would be quicker on a track (with turns  ) too! Nonetheless, its a seriously awesome car!

Here is a pic of my car...it is a 2002 BMW X5 4.4i. I am about to trade it in for either the '06 Range Rover supercharged or the '06 M5

I vote for the E60 M5. Man, what a car! Ever since driving one on GT4 recently, I am huge into them. I think they may be one of my favorite cars of all time.

Decisions, decisions:rolleyes: . I love the interior of the Range Rover, the exterior isn't too bad either. However, reliability may be an issue. I absolutely love the M5! Push a button for an extra 100hp....wow. Love the exterior of the M5 too. Reliable, fast, great looks and a bit of a "Q ship". My .02....go M5. Cheers

I am leaning toward the M5 but my only thing is that it doesn't do that good in the snow. I love both cars but the reliability on the Range Rover really a major issue, with all the money you spend on these cars you would expect it to run...
