Toppa G's - how'd they let you get away with those custom plates??? ... is it your birthday or something? You'd have a hard time explaining what it meant over here at the DMV; they're pretty keen to the sub-culture symbology.

A couple minutes in Photoshop gave me these custom plates - the first "420" is actually on my plates, but then I've got three jumbled letters after that. :D :D I'm pretty sure the Wisconsin DMV would deny any request for these plates or anything similar.

A very nice looking scooter. Very practical with the current high gas prices. Also great to get around in traffic.
I don't think gas prices are going to go down again. Sorry. We're running out!

hmmm... I dont know. I like them with the emblems for some reason... "w/e floats your boat" lol. (sounds like something my dad would say! lol :) )

I had debaged my trunk:

But now it has a badge:

(if you're wondering why the car is so dirty, it's from this)

And I rebadged the front:

So I guess, I'm of the type that likes the emblems too.

here's my baby...

... but it's up for sale!! Which is a shame 'cos the MR2 Roadster is a fantastic car to drive as I'm sure Krossfyter would agree... I need the pennies at the moment!!

But, I'm aiming to get one of these within the next 12-18 months...

... built by Lotus with a few Elise parts thrown in for luck. Badged as a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo in the UK and an Opel Speedster Turbo in mainland Europe.

For the record iceTrX the Holden Monaro is also available in Europe, this time round badged up as both Vauxhall and Opel Monaro's.

Am I right in thinking the Holdens are straight out of Australia?

But the really mental one is the Monaro VXR - 6 litre v8 400 ponys and 0-60 in 5 seconds. Problem is here in the UK petrol prices are going up, up, up [almost 92p/litre] so something like this would cost a small fortune to run on a daily basis!!

;)

getting rid of excess 2.0L VTI TWIN TURBO NISSAN WHATEVER is cool, but my Golf still had the GOLF and GTI badges on it. looks too bare with nothing IMO! No getting away that most seriously modified cars, in Europe at least, have their badges whipped off. Especially V-Dubs.

Both the VX(R) 220 and the MOnaro have been discontinued on the UK :(

That is one strange looking car. The front reminds me of a porsche for some reason.

yeah, I agree... Its fine if you get rid off all that junk so that you can put Jesus symbols on your car :p ;) ... No, I just like the brand names on there. you can debadged all the stupid stuff.

So what exactly is it?

It's an Isuzu VehiCROSS.

Here's a pic of my car. 2001 Cavalier, Ultra Silver Metallic, 2200/5 Speed. (great gas mileage!) It has 45k miles on it.

Yup Vehicross...

IT was prototyped in 2003 and it recieved a huge response so in 98 isuzu used a ceramic mold technique to produce a limited run of them... It's a very fun SUV. built from the ground up for rally-cross. It was ahead of it's time. stopped production in 2002. for quite a while it was one of the fastest 0-60 SUV's in production. And it nearly handles like a car, but has almost 18 inches of wheel travel when off road. Put the SC on it and it still hangs with the fastest SUVs on the road ;-). i think it's almost the SUV porsche wanted to make, lol. put a few more horsepower and ome brembos on it, he he.

The red and black leather interior is what sold me. reminded me of old 911's.

definitely get's me a lot of questions in traffic and at gas stations.

oh, and yes that's my favorite cup ;-)

Nope it is a Jetta Coupe. Not too many were made, and VW made them the base model car for the Jetta lineup in the year I bought it. The only options it had in 90 were a Sunroof, or AC. Mine has no AC but it does have the sunroof. It's a great car, and I drive it mostly in the summer.

however I do have both a Rabbit, and an 81 Scirocco (no pictures online). As soon as I have some recent photos of the cars, I can post em up for you. The RAbbit I have is a Black GTI, with some mods (nothing visual).

I didn't really debadge my cars, I simply blacked out the emblems so they stand out less. I am proud to own and drive VW, I just don't like the BIG silver clown nose on the fronts of my cars. The Black badge on the Jetta is actually a factory part from a Jetta GLI (Sport model).

Good old Rally Cross.

I just got done working at the Ojibwe forrest pro rally in Minnesota. I worked the rally and brought my honda XR-50 Pitbike up to the event for my work duties at one of the stadium events.

Subaru driver Travis Pastrana actually took notice to me riding around and we got to chat for a bit. He autographed my front number plate on my XR, good times!

I am scheduled to work at LSPR in Michigan in october for their Pro Rally, I am excited as can be!

izuzu vehicross (sp?)

Great little SUV, came with factory RECARO seats, nice stereo, good power for it's size and class, and great handling.

I got to see one in action at a local Autocross, it got better times then many cars!

Here is my 2005 Explorer XLT Sport 4x4 V6. I am lucky it is an FFV vehicle because I am still getting E85 fuel for a decent price. It's MSRP was $34,000 and I bought it for $25,000 with the employee discount. I guess the only real cool things about it is the 300watt CD6/MP3/Sirus stereo and the AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control that Ford pulled from the Volvo XC90. Over all I am pretty happy with it, the V6 is fairly economical for a midsized 4x4.

Well Ford does own Volvo now so it makes sense to use the technology to help prevent rollovers. I did not get the service yet, we will see how the budget looks in a month or so. It's all compatible so it would be nice.

I no this isn't a car advice forum but I'll ask anyway... My Mom is looking into three mid-size SUVs... the Volvo XC90, VW Touareg, or the Saab 9-7x... which one do you guys think?
