The only way using native apps is taking a 48MP ProRAW and converting using a shortcut. If you're willing to use third party apps, I believe Halide has been updated and lets you take 48MP HEIFs.
Yup, Halide has been updated for the 14. There's also ProCam 8, which is free.

Would you say Halide is worth it? I remember watching a video (iphone 12 or 13? ) comparing LR, Halide and the stock app all shooting raw and somewhat unsurprisingly the ProRaw came out the cleanest with the most shadow detail.

Halide has a 14 day trial to see if you like it. Then there is a yearly sub and also one time payment. It gives you a lot of control over exposure, shutter speed, etc while taking a pic. Best thing to do is test it as everyone will have a different opinion.

Personally I tried it but wasn’t for me as the iphone does a good job for my needs with proraw. If I need to make extra adjustments I use the free settings on LR after.
