Yes mine as well. The Lightroom app hasnāt been updated for the iPhone 14 pro image profile yet. Iām guessing as soon as the next update comes along for iPhone 14 pro support, it will be better. I usually tap the optics icon to adjust for any barrel distortion but there isnāt any change. Hopefully adobe will update the app soon. When I import ProRaw photos into Lightroom mobile app, it darkens the photo automatically. Is there a work around to avoid this from happening? And why LR doing this?

Yeah I figured it out. Thank youIt's because iPhone 14 pro isn't officially supported yet in LR. Change the profile from Apple Embedded Color to Apple ProRaw and it should fix it for now.
Oh man I really wanted one of those Qrio! Thanks for clarifying the name.Ah! You are talking about Qrio! That robot sadly never came to fruition. I love that you know about Qrio though! That was incredible and YEARS beyond its time!
Awesome tip!!
Immediately (after it, obviously, auto-switching to the UWA camera, which is also instantaneous when you're too close). No slowdowns here. May be related to the 'slow camera startup" issue (which I haven't at all experimented either)? How long is it usually taking for your camera to let you do macro shots? It feels like a good minute, nothing that I used to do in past is working š«£
Some people still donāt know that this photo was taken with an iPhone 4S! Yes you read correctly. IPhone 4S sample image released by Apple. I did an experiment and it worked š View attachment 2080532View attachment 2070617
If the setup is nice the results are great. Nice natural colors and overall quality!
Anyone know why the photos app is telling me the file size is 6.3mb but when I try to upload to this forum it says it is 16.1mb? Really annoying as every photo is telling me it is too large to upload. Screenshots attached.

To be fair no one is going to know what camera has been used to take pics that are posted on a forum, photos are compressed a lot when uploaded. Some people still donāt know that this photo was taken with an iPhone 4S! The only way using native apps is taking a 48MP ProRAW and converting using a shortcut. If you're willing to use third party apps, I believe Halide has been updated and lets you take 48MP HEIFs.How to take 48MP HEIF photo on iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max? (without any file conversion manually)
Haha so whats the point of this thread again? Whats the point of getting a new phone when your photos are getting compressed all the time when you upload to SM or send it via messengers??To be fair no one is going to know what camera has been used to take pics that are posted on a forum, photos are compressed a lot when uploaded.
Itās other factors that come into play too, night mode, portrait mode, lens size, bigger sensors, itās the advancements in lenses and sensors and the processing when capturing, now donāt get me wrong, that 4S photo is probably very good (the original, not the upload here), but put it up against a 12mp or a 48mp ProRAW photo from Apples last 4 flagship phones (11Pro -14Pro) (not one thatās been uploaded to a forum or compressed by other means other than when being shot) and Iām sure youād see the differences from a 4S.Haha so whats the point of this thread again? Thats what people are here for and many of them discuss how they can see how good those photos are. If some are impressed (I was too when I saw it) by a 4S photo and legit thought it came from a 14 PRO it goes to show you donāt necessarily need to upgrade your phone to take great photos.
Agreed, any camera ( phone or otherwise ) can take a reasonably pleasant picture on a bright sunny/overcast day. Some of my favourite photos iāve taken are from my 7 Plus. But in less favourable conditions, is where the newer phones really start to shine.Itās other factors that come into play too, night mode, portrait mode, lens size, bigger sensors, itās the advancements in lenses and sensors and the processing when capturing, now donāt get me wrong, that 4S photo is probably very good (the original, not the upload here), but put it up against a 12mp or a 48mp ProRAW photo from Apples last 4 flagship phones (11Pro -14Pro) (not one thatās been uploaded to a forum or compressed by other means other than when being shot) and Iām sure youād see the differences from a 4S.
