My new 4k60 Ken Burns video:

is based on both iPhone 14PM 48 Mpixel Preview-converted pics and ones shot with the Fujifilm X-E1 + 18-55 2.8-4 combo. The cropping / Ken Burns "zoomability" is just excellent with the phone - I'd say even better than with my Sigma DP2M camera (let alone the Fuji), which is otherwise a wonder.

The iPhone part is up to 12:12; after that, I use Fujifilm X-E1-based pics. WIth these, I crop far less to avoid pixelization. Note that the input pics are at https://www.flickr.com/photos/33448355@N07/albums/72177720303467564 (Fuji) and https://www.flickr.com/photos/33448355@N07/albums/72177720303438260 (iPhone 14PM).

All in all, I'm more than happy with the croppabilty of the main camera when shooting 48 Mpixel ProRAW.

We had clear skys this weekend so I took some raw night shots.
The normal files are bright but once I loaded them into sdnapseed they just came out much darker before I changed anything. I did change exposure a little on the final.

image 1
RAW
24mm f1.78
12MP
ISO800 10s

image 2

24mm f1.78
12MP
ISO400 10s

I dont understand the ten secs because it was a 30 second shot but I probably got it wrong what those 10 seconds mean.

The phone takes 3 10s exposures and then stacks them.

Tokyo, Japan
So I tried to take pictures of the lunar eclipse last night, but as I live in Tokyo it's a bit challenging. I got two decent pics:

I thought this was was pretty good for a 15x digital zoom crop. 😅

But this one is even better:

48MP RAW, and you can see enough detail in the moon to see what's happening. But the cool part of this one is that the four main stars of the constellation Aries are visible. You can clearly see the light pollution from Tokyo in the sky, but the indigo-to-black gradient is nice and smooth. And you can see a complete constellation, in the middle of Tokyo. 😳 I thought that was pretty cool.

I bet living in tokyo you have amazing opportunities for street photography in the evening.
I hope one day I get to visit for a few days
