I’m trying to upload a cat photo and the forum is telling me it’s too big 😅 I guess I have to figure out how to shrink the file size?

there is less processing and the pictures are sharper compared to the 14 pro. Im happy.
That’s due to the fact that the 15 Pro’s take a 24mp photo compared to the 14 Pro’s 12mp.

This doesn’t matter now since we can also shoot HEIF Max 48mp on the 14 Pro.

Pics come out extremely nice.

Very curious what sensor is in the main camera on the pro max, it definitely looks like they upgraded it, I know they were rumored to. But then I’ve seen people saying it’s the same one, guess we’ll have to wait for a proper teardown?

Just found this
Extremely low light comparison with 14 Pro Max-RAW files included for comparison and processing!

Ok so at least for RAW there is some meaningful change.

Why the hell didn't any reviewers really push the comparisons between 14 Pro and 15 Pro? It's kind of ridiculous how they limited it to the most basic examples possible and half of them didn't bother with a 14 and 15 side by side. Kinda regretting cancelling mine now... maybe I'll pick a 15PM up in a few weeks, I'll see what the Pixel 8 Pro delivers first.

Really impressed with the 5x quality. Never got the detail on a squirrel in a tree before.

Now imagine this with a 24MP or greater sensor. Really irritating that Apple are not rumored to upgrade the telephoto sensor resolution next year. I guess it's still early so we'll see.

Are proraw photos supposed to be super underexposed when you import them into Lightroom?

I don't believe so. If I recall correctly one of the previous ProRAW iPhones required an update from Adobe to support the new sensor's camera profile. Don't take my word for it though, it looks like @skidu has already been editing 15 Pro ProRAW photos in Lightroom so let's see if he ran into the same issue

Face and head look great, the outline of the back left leg, left belly, front left leg…not so much.

Also…WHO’S A GOOD DOGGIE?!

I uploaded the wrong pic I have changed it now. That was one I was playing with in snapseed and the processing I played with did that. Straight out of the phone it looks great actually

It looks like they’ve finally got rid of the muddy/oatmeal looking skies, so glad to see this.
I didn’t notice a big difference in the skies, but I do like the saturation and detail better on the 15 Pro Max than my 14 Pro. First image is from the 15, second is from the 14.

(please pardon the lousy subject and composition, was just looking to do a quick side by side comparison)

Nice and clean. Happy with Apple's choice to go with lower zoom for twice as fast aperture and better stabilization. 240mm FF equivalent (Samsung 10x zoom) very hard to hand hold to get very sharp pics unless in bright sunlight.
