Every picture I try to post, the forum tells me the file is too big. I’ve had to save it from Facebook and post that file. How can I fix this? I feel like it’s an easy fix but I’m just stupid.

I think this photo for me confirms it. It seems like this years algorithm tuning was to essentially lean more towards the Rich Contrast photographic style as a default but only when the lightning conditions call for it.

I like this approach better than the photographic style because that tends to introduce too much black in some scenes.

Subtle improvements but noticeable to me. Very very interesting. We need more people posting for goodness sake 😭 I want more photos to analyze!

Any comparisons or thoughts on trading 3x optical to 5x optical yet? Trying to decide which is better to have based on every day use and if the 5x zoom is only good to use when you want to heavily zoom in on specific shots. I like 5x for traveling landscapes and concerts. I was wondering how much the iPhone 15PM 3x zoom quality is affected vs 15P. And if it’s hard to get the proper distance from an object in 5x zoom when doing portrait type photos. Thanks for the help.

OMG seeing those animal/kid pictures gave me an idea.

I now I want to have a feature to be able to specify a start and stop point for depth control, and have it transition in a slideshow. Like a Ken Burns effect for depth control!

Not seeing anything here that’s anymore impressive than the iPhone 14 pro, in saying that there’s nothing wrong with them either. I think we are just at that point now where smartphone photos are just great in general. My 15 pro arrives next week so I will see what I can get out of it.

I also find the blur in portrait mode to be unnaturally strong by default. Needs to be turned down for most pics for it to look realistic. Otherwise it just looks like a crappy blur filter has been added. That’s always been the case though.

I just tried to upload pics, and MacRumors gave me “The uploaded image is too big.” 😄🤷🏼
