Boom! Welcome to #teampixelThank you all for the real world feedback today and I FINALLY took the plunge on a 3XL. Found a mint condition one on Swappa for $465.
I have wavered back and forth on one for over 3 months now and it seems I was finally hooked in by that camera and overall stock Google experience.
Also got it in the mint white I really wanted, not black.
A little late to the party but hope there's still room on the bus.
Figured I'd go 3XL with the thought of a trade in deal on the 4 by black Friday or whenever the first big sale happens.
Found a mint one which was big for me.
Agreed. The trade in value will be nice for sure. I'm kind of on the regular size phone kick currently but the 3XL is such a fun device. Size wise, I still think the iPhone XR takes the cake though.A little late to the party but hope there's still room on the bus.

Nice! What color? I found if you buy the Verizon model on Swappa you can save a significant amount of money .
I am sure I will just get used to it. Do you know if you do shut off the notch, does that entire black bar across the top enable notification icons or is it still limited by the notch parameters?
If you disable the notch then notifications will appear below the black bar. It's a colossal waste of screen space on Google's part. I use Nacho Notch, it's a handy little utility. Enabling this allows notifications to appear inside the black bar / above the "usable" screen area, as Google should've done from the get go.I am sure I will just get used to it. Be patient with me and my overload of Pixel questions that were probably asked on page 27
Anyone use their 3XL on TMobile? Does TMobile slow down the super fast updates that Pixels are known for killing that awesome feature?
I’m on TMo—updates are not affected, at least they weren’t before I loaded the Android Q beta.

It does not, unfortunately, however if you follow this person's advice:I'm not 100% but I think so. I haven't seen any screenshots of the icons going across the middle on an XL.

So, there are times that the updates to my pixels when on T-Mobile do take longer... not much longer, sometimes a day or so. but it does happen from time to time... not sure why, quite frustrating. And the main reason I notice is because my wife has a P3XL on Verizon and it comes right away (she has the Google unlocked version but VZW sim). But this is not enough to make me not use T-Mobile. But you can always sideload the OTA if you are comfortable with that if it does get delayed.
I got the referral but still don't really understand what it is.
So you pay $10 a month just for the ability to buy their games to stream? You still have to buy the games and the lineup looks very weak right now.
You buy the controller and Chromecast ultra now. The 10/mo gets you a small list of free games and 4k. You still mainly buy games. The selling point here is no hardware needed outside a controller tv phone etc. No PS4 Xbox PC as the processing is all done in the cloud. Lots of new games being announced at e3 .
I see the future of it but hope the game library grows exponentially and eventually new releases. I recently sold my XB1X and PS4 Pro as I didn't use them enough to justify keeping them. I am the ideal person for this without a console and interested to see if it grows and emerges.
Pre order bonus only gets you a founders subscription and controller?
Very cool.
