Unlocked P6P on Verizon still no update. I really don't like how Google doesn't make updates available for everyone immediately. My work iPhone and personal iPhone have been updated to iOS 15.2 already same day it released. I'm still using the P6P as my main device but it's frustrating for me as I'm a person who prefers to keep all of my devices updated. But I guess I can just sideload so please excuse my rant.

Apple does it best, I'm not an iPhone fan, but when there's an update available, it's ready for every iPhone from the past 5 years, across all carriers, immediately ready at the same time. When there's a new iOS update available, it's out for everyone that owns an iPhone, in every country, no matter where you bought your phone.

Never seen any Android phone handle updates that well.

Got the update here yesterday afternoon.
Bought phone directly from Google. Could it be some sort of an issue with the carriers in the U.S.?

Is/wasn't part of the whole allure of the Pixel/Nexus line is the updates were in line with how apple rolls them out?
For me yes. This is now the third update they've sent out since I have had my Pixel. The first update I installed before I put a SIM card in and the second update I had to sideload because my phone never got it. It's looking like I'll have to sideload this update too. Not sure what's going on but this hasn't been a good updating experience for me at all.

I do like how if there's an issue with Chrome for example, Google can just release an update to Chrome through the play store. But Apple would need to release a full update just to patch Safari. It would be nice if Apple could find a way to push their app updates out through the App Store.

A good test would be if a carrier is blocking the update then removing the sim card and rebooting and connecting through Wifi should resolve. But it does not.
It is just the slow steady rollout that Google has adopted for the this update.
Not really sure why though.

Exactly fashion is back and everything else comes back. We need wood paneling for the house and for the mobile...

Wood paneling? My house has a lot of wood designs;

Really wish you could Hacktivate the Pixel stand mode for use with cable charging. I made a USB-C charging dock a couple years ago using one of those little 3rd Party iPad Pro docks. It provides power, a headphone jack and HDMI out (sadly the Pixel 3 never supported that) Was a great setup to charge my Pixel, and output audio to good quality speakers for nighttime white noise, and Alarm clock audio. Here and now, It actually works okay with my iPad Mini in a pinch too.

Would love to have the pixel stand mode on my wired setup, as my 3 has become a stay at home alarm clock, and 2nd google voice google assistant buddy in my bedroom. It is attached to a 12v Class-T Amplifier, that powers classic Apple Pro speakers (little eyeball HK speakers) and is a good little low power entertainment system.

I have zero interest in inductive charging as the line loss would be too parasitic for my solar / ATS off grid setup I use to charge most of my devices and to power this little stereo setup.

No I like yellow... But I don't like wallpaper from the 90s 🤣!
Ugh most of the paint job of the interior of my house as well as the curtains of my house are from the late 90’s. It’s all in excellent shape though so…it stays. My parents kitchen is pure 70’s, so I guess it could be worse!

Hey folks, moving right along…I have to erase my S21 Ultra. But the problem is I can’t get my Samsung account to stop sending the two factor verification code to the S21 Ultra. I still need to be able to log into my Samsung account to be able to check orders and make returns or whatever. But I am only going to have my iPhone XR and my Pixel 6 Pro from now on.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve been all over my Samsung account and can’t seem to find where to change the settings. My S21 Ultra doesn’t even have a sim in it and still it’s getting the codes.

My like was in response to your decor and color discussion, I am of no help on the Samsung side unfortunately.

Didn't want you to think that I liked that you were having problems!

Did you try to login from browser on another phone …I think you can skip or amend settings

On your Pixel phone, open the Google app. Go to manage your Google account. Go to Security, scroll down to “Manage Devices”. Sign out of every device you no longer want to use. You should see the S21 Ultra listed there. See if that works.

Let's talk Android Auto lol ..why why when using AA on a call I can transfer to headset or speaker but to this day they won't let you see the call on phone ..they assume you are only driving ..if I have a ear bud I want to transfer call over I can't ...since the call screen is not active I'm unable to toggle it ...please tell me I'm missing something lol rant over

Is your Android Auto staying connected? Since I got the Pixel, AA well randomly disconnect every few minutes. To the point where is unusable. I haven't tried it in the past couple of weeks so maybe it's been fixed.
