Is your phone in dark mode?
Yes.

Where's the font color setting? My At A Glance still shows white font, how do I get that and the status bar to be black font not white?

Changing to dark or light mode on this Bloom wallpaper does not change the font away from always being white.

Very strange why it won't go black font?

Light mode vs Dark mode on this Bloom wallpaper, always shows white font. Ugh.

I think you are going to hate this answer. It appears it's the OS that determines whether to use a black or white font. It automatically makes the choice. Go into the wallpaper selection page and go into the ART folder. Pick different wallpapers and you should see wallpapers will get you either a white or black font.

Yes other wallpapers will offer the black font.

But this specific Bloom wallpaper is shown in a lot of Google promos with the black font. But I've tried it on my Pixel 6 Pro, and my daughters Pixel 6, and the black font never shows up on this wallpaper.

So was Google just messing with us on these promotion images?

Well we know it's summertime sure is quiet around these parts lol.... Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend... Still rocking with the pixel. I've not switched back to my S22 yet...

Could we see a pixel 7 ultra?

Only thing I'd be interested in is amazing battery life, on par with the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Currently all Pixel phones blow in comparison in regards to long battery life.

Also give it a high end screen like the newest Samsung Galaxy phones, that get bright but also great colors.

Yeah second that I mean ceramic and all doesn't really get me excited. TBH it's not like I'm going to be walking around with no case on the phone showing it off. Hey look at my ceramic phone lol but I mean I take high end specs but most definitely better battery...

I have not been using my Pixel 6. I rotate between the S22 ultra, and 13 pro. Been using the Ultra for a staight week now. I was going to sell my Pixel, but now I’m going to save it for my nieces son, who will get it for Christmas.
What I don’t like about the Pixel is speaker not loud enough, and screen hard to see in bright sunlight.
I hate to admit this but when I was on vacation I didn’t use my Pixel 6 Pro. My S22 Ultra got all my attention. And I carried my SE 3 when I was out doing activities but not expecting to take photos.

I’ve been able to get every photo I could have hoped to get with my S22 Ultra plus some I know the Pixel lacks the zoom capacity to get.

I have not had or used a Pixel 6 yet but I have the S22 Ultra and I am wanting to go back to Pixel. The S22 is a nice phone but my problem is the battery life and the value proposition. I think my Pixel 5a pictures were very comparable to this, even in low light and it is way cheaper. Right now I am looking to get the 6a after I found out it isn't the same chip as the 5a, the phone overheats way too easy. If anyone has a 3a, 3a XL, 4a 4a xl, 3 3xl for sale please let me know.

A Samsung phone will have a MUCH higher value towards a new Samsung phone. The same goes for any manufactures phone i.e. Google/Apple. It's when you change brands is when the value drops like a rock. Currently pretty much any Google phone will net you $300 trade in towards a Pixel 6a with Best Buy. I don't know if that deal is still ongoing. My Pixel 6 trade was a paltry $70 trade in with Google.

So after using the Pixel 6 for a few months I 'm a bit disappointed

That thing is buggy at times, but nothing major (although I did miss an important notification), but it can be laggy as well

For a recent stock Android phone with Google's own chipset it's a bit disappointing tbh

No issue with the battery so far though

I'm about to download the final release too.

PSA: don't forget to opt out after you install if you no longer want to remain in beta for future feature drops. That way you can avoid wiping your device if their is ever a need to be on stable 13. Do not opt out before getting stable 13 either bc it will prompt you to wipe your device.

I just got a notification for A13 for my Pixel 4a and 4a 5G. It's around 850MB. Android 13 for the Pixel 6 is still not available, at least on my phone.
