I still enjoy using my google home mini that came with my pixel 2. Only really used for casting audio now though.
Use it a ton less now that google music is dead. Sadly the YouTube music experience is garbage for me so I don’t use anything in the G-sphere for entertainment these days.
The leaks have really started flowing now I can guess a unboxing/review is in incoming well before announcement date. I wonder if UK will get the same promotion as Germany for headphones , as for price I am quite shocked that it won't be as expensive as I first thought €649 in Germany equates to around £660 including vat , so I will be pre ordering as soon as possible.
Still not sure what colour i'd choose.
I think I'd go with the white one as it looks best to my eye. Not into the Goldy one and black is soooo boring (to me). I never buy black phones.
I sold my PS5 due to not getting the use I'd hoped out of it (and no, not for a profit I'm not a scum bag lol) and have put that aside to help with my Pixel 6 Pro fund.
If I sell my Flip too then I'll easily have enough to get one just whether I want to let the Flip go or not. I would like a better zoom camera though. It's the only part of this Flip camera I don't like.

White would be my pick ha ha... Love my Panda flip... I'm still not sure what to do... I can't have 3 Android phones.. If I get the P6 Pro then the flip would have to go.. I can't see myself parting with my ZF3... Why must I do this to myself lol...

Same conundrum here. Love my ZF3. Love my S21 Ultra, especially for the zoom capabilities. I'm not going to part with the ZF3 or 13 Pro Max, so it looks like the S21 Ultra is going to be the odd man out. Sucks letting go of such a beautifully designed phone and amazing camera but cant see myself giving up the Fold for anything and the 13 PM is the best overall camera I've used on a phone. Only other option would be sitting out the Pixel 6 but I know I'm not doing that 😂

… my iOS phone is IPhone 12 Pro and I’ve held out on doing 13 Pro Max Bc of ease of carrying …
Yeah I couldn’t have 3 phones so decided to sell my s21 ultra a few weeks ago and the pixel 6 pro will replace it. 13 pro max and pixel 6 pro will be my set up for the next year I expect. S22 ultra I’m sure will be tempting but if the pixel gets this right then I don’t think it will be better anyway not camera wise anyway. Will see though.

Both those phones are excellent. I think the Pixel 4 XL is the coolest design to date, a fantastic smartphone, with only two issues; the battery life was mediocre at best, and the display was sort of dim not bright and washed out.
The Pixel 5 is awesome, nice size one handed phone, good battery life, and basic minimal design.
Now we'll have to wait and see how big an upgrade the Pixel 6 line is, it should be amazing, but lately phones from one or two years ago are still great, and new phones aren't substantial upgrades like we'd think.
I want a top of the line display for once on a Pixel. Bright and deep blacks on par with the 13 Pro and Galaxy S21 screens, come on Google don't disappoint here.
And battery life. My Wife has the Pixel 5a, holy cow the battery life is OUTSTANDING, literally best battery life of any smartphone we've owned. Gets like 10h SoT. Hopefully the new Pixel 6 matches that.

In case you haven’t used it yet, FaceTime on Android is difficult. The iOS user has to create a link through the FaceTime app and then text/email it to you. For technically savvy people it’s probably not a problem but getting my parents to use it correctly has been difficult.
I wish they would just release an android app for it.
Easy fix, just have iOS users install Google Duo. Takes 30 seconds.

From my experience, Duo is better anyone. Cross platform and has all the same features. Plus in my experience the video quality is better/more reliable.
I agree with all of the above. I have a couple of contacts that I FaceTime with that don’t even have Google accounts to use Duo. It’s a slight annoyance when I’m using Android but I just live with it. I am one of those that would gladly pay a monthly subscription fee for FaceTime and iMessage if available on Android. I could permanently move to a Pixel and not miss out on the only two features that keep me returning to iOS.

To make matters worse, I put in an order to upgrade my Apple Watch to the 7. My battery has been draining more quickly over time and I don’t have Apple Care on it. I also wanted a color change so I went for it.
That won’t put me out of the running for a Pixel, but it means I can’t do preorders for one. I checked with my husband several times to absolutely positively without a doubt confirm it was okay for our budget to preorder the Apple Watch and would not completely knock me out of any chance to get a Pixel. It’s not one of the expensive models of Apple Watch that I wanted.
