I know this phone was never meant for the US market. At the same time, it would be nice if they offered another edition with more LTE bands. Even it was a little extra.

I'm going to walk back on this. Apple announced an iPhone today, the Xr, that is priced $450 higher than the Pocophone and doesn't even have a full HD display. Suddenly this looks like less of a big deal, especially after Lew's video.
It was never a big deal. Again, many phones didn't have this DRM thing, and nobody ever cared, until now. Probably someone at BBK wasn't too happy about Poco and started a black campaign targeting the Poco F1 specifically.

And now their OnePlus 6T dropped the headphone jack. Xiaomi is having the last laugh.

The poco is the better deal, but the 6 and 6t are better phones

That's really great test. People put too much confidence on numbers on spec (like megapixel, ppi), that companies easily use that to lure them in.

I put Apple on a different playing field than any Android phone, simply because it runs a completely different ecosystem. You cannot just compare specs between Android and iOS when they run completely different ecosystem. Android vs Android is another story, and the Pocophone is an awesome value compared to the likes of Samsung and OnePlus. Even BBK noticed that and they released a new brand RealMe to compete with Xiaomi as they felt their OnePlus brand is being threatened.

Well what kind of panel would you expect in a $300 phone?

There are always compromises in a budget phone.
