Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but you might try to wake early (?) to order a Pro Max to reserve in store and then cancel your other order. In the past, even when I tried to change a watch in store to cellular, they had issues.
If thot doesn’t work for you, then I hope they can trade easily for you.
I wouldn’t think so…the stores open at 8, so 6am PT would be an hour after stores open on the east coast. I suspect they’re just running late opening the online store this morning.

I think right now at eastern time zones the in-store availability on apple.com still hasn't updated. That website is linked to that somehow right now nothing is showing.
That makes sense. I’m up now. I just gotta figure out where I’m going before I leave the house.

I’m in walk-in/no pre-order line at Apple WTC in NY, there’s about 25 people in line and someone came out and said “we’re in overflow”, referring to the time slots they’re holding for standby folks like me. They are hoping it’s a glitch, but now accepting folks for tomorrow…
So it sounds like Apple may or may not enable it. but the website says check availability starting today.
I have mine set to be delivered so i'm all set here. Was trying to help folks but it sounds like it's not up yet. I sure hope that it doesn't open right at store opening.
I think that may be better option to do than wasting time checking online.
Apple really should address the scalpers at the stores on days like today. There is a couple that has 9 people in line. They have given them each several apple gift cards and instructions on what to buy. Sounds like they sell them off Craigslist later today.
Wow. I didn’t get in line because I’m still waiting on AT&T to cancel my order since yesterday, so I was planning on selecting an in store pickup time later in the day to give the cancellation time to go through and my upgrade eligibility to reset. However, my AT&T order changed to preparing to ship overnight, and the cancel button went away, so I’m wondering if the cancellation didn’t work because the shipment was already in motion. I do see an odd DHL -> USPS package scheduled for delivery today, but I’ve never received an iPhone via USPS.
