Waiting in line at Avalon Apple Store in Alpharetta Ga and still no today preorders option for the online store. Guess we will just have to wait until they come out and start taking names.

If I recall the Apple website will refresh at 8am local time with what's available in store and you can reserve that way. I want to say the year my husband decided on launch day he did want a phone it was 8am when we could reserve online for in store

I don't think that's wrong either I think that also was a time in the past but I think for the last couple of launches it's been 8am. It's 6:42am here and the site says just to check back on 9/16. I suppose we shall find out soon!

We shall see. Last year I know that I did mine at 6 am when the store availability showed up. even the year before that but they could well do different this year and could be at 8 am. Sounds like some are already lining up so chances for the in store pick up will be low.
