I've had to stock up running low on food for the Hillstream Loach and water treatment + needed to replace the Filter pads and Biomax for the filter.

Glad to see another fish lover! What kind of fish do you have??

New enclosure for my 2.5" Hitachi Travelstar 7200rpm 500GB HDD. The one that I'm currently using seems to have a loose connection, and when I touch it, it disconnects from my Mac. Not cool.

Not sure what you're getting at. They can and do push us to use something specific because IT doesn't want to deal with maintaining multiple system types. Never heard of NPI, do you mean protected HIPAA identifiers? It IS pretty unfair because I feel that if they're going to lock down our computers, we should have loaners. It's annoying that we are forced to overpay for computers which we then can't have full control over.

NPI (National Provider Identifier) is not a HIPAA identifier... that is just an unique number provided to providers for purposes of enrolling with Medicare/Medicaid and is also utilized as an identifier for some (not all) managed care payers...

Yeah its an Interest that I've taken up a few months back that has now turned into more than a hobby, atm I've got x1 Hillstream Loach and X1 Weather Loach and a run of the mill Goldfish but this weekend we should be getting some new additions I want another Weather Loach and some more HillStreams and possibly something different and not commonly seen in a cold water tank like the Loaches.

Why are you replacing the biomax? Usually if the flow is hindered rinse them off in dechlorinated tank water to get some of the grit out. Careful when you change out any biofilter as your tank might go through a mini cycle because you are replacing the good bacteria in your tank. Same with the filter pads b/c they contain a lot of good bacteria.

Thanks for the Advice dubels :) I was just stocking up and saw them going cheap on Amazon so I thought that I'd get a few things being as the local Aquatic centre isn't cheap.

It's an addicting hobby that i have gotten myself into as well. I have some African Cichlids right now. I have a smaller tank, but look forward to getting a larger tank next year maybe around 75 galloons and a lot more fish!

Since you have the extra you might as well start seeding them in your current tank. You can never have enough bio filter in your tank and it helps if you want to get another tank up and running quick to have extra bio filter material ready. I actually took out most of the carbon and crap from you canister filters and run mostly fiber and bio filters. With regular water changes I never have problems in my tanks. Also if you ever change substrate watch out for swings.

In the process of setting up another dwarf puffer tank.
