So jealous. Love the stuff from Dogfish Head; can't get it in the state where we live (thanks to Puritanical alcohol-content laws).

Jaybird JF3 Bluetooth Headphones. Decent sound quality for a bluetooth headset. Used the traditional eartips that it came with and it come coming off when doing cardio at the gym. Going to give the "gecko grip" eartips a try and see how it goes. Will post a review this weekend!

I just purchased this season of SOA and I've already watched every episode. Awesome season, I can't wait for season 4 to come out in the next couple of months.

I just preordered these water resistant bluetooth headphones:

http://www.arriva.com/leo/index.html

I've been waiting for them to release the headphones for 6 months. They are having a sale right now, MSRP is $90 but if you preorder, they are only $50 with free shipping. But I have to wait 45-60 days for them to come.

I've been looking for a good set of bluetooth headphones to use while I run and bike.

Depending on where you live, golf lessons can be quite expensive. I know around Dallas they go from a low of $45 bucks for a 40 minute lesson at the PGA Superstore, to $300 an hour at finer country clubs. I have paid $75 for an hours lesson and seem to think that is still expensive. But it pays off! Hit em Long and Straight man!
On the other hand, some community colleges have golfing as a class. I know where I used to live there were 3 golf classes, beginner, intermediate and advanced. All of them teach you how to golf, clearly. You also have to test out of beginner so they're interested in teaching you the game on various levels. The classes cost as much as any CC course cost and then you pay a seriously discounted green fee when you did play. Driving ranges were free because (at least at this college) the driving range was on campus.

Well I was going to ask the guy there but there was a sign up sheet for a free clinic at the counter. Unfortunately I can only make the first and maybe the second day. But I'll be out of town for the rests of the classes. Oh well.

Last purchase was a bunch of golf clubs at a garage sale. It's a few short of a full set. And could use some cleaning. But can't beat $3 :).

Had to get a new toolbox for work...the other one started smelling like over ripe bananas, and a dead thing...couldn't scrub it out, so I opted for a Kobalt metal toolbox with drawers...

My knives and other sharp items are in the top, and the shallow drawer is filled with my rubber spatulas, offset spatulas, and other flat(ish) things...the deep drawer is filled with my pastry bag tips, whisks, scoop, and other bulky items.

Gamer Has Every PlayStation 2 Game Ever Made

Image

:p

On one hand, yeah, that would be pretty awesome. The owner of that collection, being that he's only 23, seems like someone I'd probably be able to have a lot of fun talking to and discussing games with. There's definitely a part of me that's a tad jealous, if only for the amount of free cash that guy has laying around to buy games.

However, the PS2, while it has some great, GREAT, titles; is also home to a WHOOOOOOOLE LOOOOTTTA *GARBAGE* games. :p And that's the difference, I suppose, between me and collectors like that. With every game I buy, I buy it with the intent to play it for a fair while at some point. Sure, some games sit on my shelf for a *long* time; but I always hope for an opportunity to play everything. Otherwise, it is a waste. *save for a few titles I have sealed for collection purposes*.

I'm much more jealous of a collection like this: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8159584&postcount=1150

Some work done to my engine swapped E30 as it had the dreaded Vanos rattle, which at least was not problematic, just annoying. BMW doesn't have a good fix, but Besian Systems do. Didn't have time to do it myself so paid a great BMW/Porsche shop in SB $150/hr to do it for 4.3 hrs, and only $150 in parts. I must say, Schneider Autohaus in Santa Barbara comes highly recommended from me, and to boot, they help out with the AutoX racing around here! Very knowledgeable, very very honest, and they repair their clients vehicles right, not just to get them in and out. Being that I use the car for DD use and racing, it MUST be done right, as breaking down at the track would have me more bummed than 30min from home...

And the fix that BMW never came out with: (simple eh!?)
bs012_large.jpg

(along with other simple cheap things that must be changed when the Vanos and head come off...)
