Thinkpad T520, for university this fall. Comes preloaded with lots of goodies (Maple 14, Matlab, Office, etc), so I save money big time on software worth more than the laptop itself. :)

(I didn't really buy it, though. I had to pay a 100$ deposit, and I'll pick the computer up at the start of the semester.)

I've always had a soft spot for the Thinkpad T series. I just do wish they had more oomph in the gfx dept...otherwise great workhorses!

Canon T2i, kit lens, Yongnuo 460ii flash, Yongnuo 468 E-TTL flash, aftermarket battery grip, 16GB Class 10 SD card, Canon gadget bag. I'm getting a refund for both Yongnuo flashes though because they stopped working after about a week :( It's too bad, because they were awesome when they worked, and I've read so many positive reviews about them. Perhaps I just got defective units. I'm considering taking my refund money and buying another flash and a 50mm f1.8 for shooting video.

Nice kit! The nifty fifty would be a great buy. Too bad about the speedlight - maybe you should go with canon brand?

Just picked up a happy hacking keyboard blank and white.

I've been considering it. I initially went with the YN because they're about a quarter the price and 85% of the reviewers raved about them, so I decided to take the chance. Everyone over at Strobist loves them, so I know that people have had success with them. I guess I just had a bout of bad luck

Got a full set of 9 irons with a PW and a blue Dunlop golfing bag. Then went back after lunch to get the other 4 drivers they had. Overall was only $34 for the irons and 6 drivers. They all looked pretty good but the one that stood out

Used Firesole clubs are a great value, have a bunch myself.

Purchased my first Tag watch. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Grande Date :)
I'll be also getting an additional rubber strap for it to change things up.

Love it!!!

... I think I'm officially done with the Steam Sale. No huge purchases, as I don't want so many games that they get lost over this winter's storm of AAA releases; so instead, I got some cheapies to pass the time with.

JayBird JF3

Ordered a pair of JayBird JF3 bluetooth headphones. Read some good reviews, including soulreaver99's, and was intrigued. Trying to get back into running so these will give me something to (wirelessly) listen to while doing so.

JayBird JF3 Bluetooth Headphones. Decent sound quality for a bluetooth headset. Used the traditional eartips that it came with and it come coming off when doing cardio at the gym. Going to give the "gecko grip" eartips a try and see how it goes. Will post a review this weekend!

soulreaver99, I noted in your post and in your review that you were trying the Gecko Grip eartips for better fit. Not sure if you know or not but JayBird has a new eartip for the JF3's and if you purchased yours recently, which I believe you did, you can get some for free. The new tips are called, appropriately, "secure fit ear cushions". Worth a look. There is a link on this page on the lower left hand side... http://www.jaybirdgear.com/jf3/bluetooth-headphones-features.html

Here
Bought these for only $15. Will do great as a gift for my cousins graduation party this weekend. (And before anyone says they're probably fake/a scam, I bought them off a good friend)

Donner meat and chips from a takeaway on the way home. A horribly unhealthy meal but hard to turn down when you're exceptionally hungry after a night out.

Great acoustic artist a friend recommended to me. Downloaded his track If You Change Your Mind from his album Sunlight. Some really nice stuff.

Finally got my first DSLR:
Nikon D7000
Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 G ED
B+W filter
SanDisk Extreme Pro 16GB + 8GB
Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air (L)
Nikon case soft case
Now I need to read the "instructions" on how to use this beast :)

That lens is a beauty. I've had my 24-70 for quite a while already and love it. :) Camera quite nice too. Very, very nice kit. :)

New kicks...Have had the green ones for over a year now and they have been awesome, finally starting to wear out but nothing has fallen apart like every Nike, Reebok and Adidas I have had. K-Swiss is my new favorite shoe brand.
