Beautiful work. Who was the artist?

Was that all in one sitting? How long did you sit for? If I had to guess, I'd say 5-6 hours.

The ink I got almost two weeks ago is just about healed......yay.

Chris Lombardi at H.O.D. Tattoo in Buffalo did it. It actually only took about 1.5 hours of actual inking (for reference, the piece is about the size of a CD).

Grats on your new piece!

Some work done to my engine swapped E30 as it had the dreaded Vanos rattle, which at least was not problematic, just annoying. BMW doesn't have a good fix, but Besian Systems do. Didn't have time to do it myself so paid a great BMW/Porsche shop in SB $150/hr to do it for 4.3 hrs, and only $150 in parts. I must say, Schneider Autohaus in Santa Barbara comes highly recommended from me, and to boot, they help out with the AutoX racing around here! Very knowledgeable, very very honest, and they repair their clients vehicles right, not just to get them in and out. Being that I use the car for DD use and racing, it MUST be done right, as breaking down at the track would have me more bummed than 30min from home...

And the fix that BMW never came out with: (simple eh!?)
bs012_large.jpg

(along with other simple cheap things that must be changed when the Vanos and head come off...)

I did the dual VANOS seal fix on my E46, that was an interesting job. Not difficult though. :)

Hey congrats.

I need the same one, would you mind telling me how much you got that for? Currently I use a D90.

Thanks.

Got a full set of 9 irons with a PW and a blue Dunlop golfing bag. Then went back after lunch to get the other 4 drivers they had. Overall was only $34 for the irons and 6 drivers. They all looked pretty good but the one that stood out was this :).

Bought Thermos Nissan insulated vacuum bottle for my boyfriend along with a Ritual Coffee 6 Month Subscription for him to drink his fancy coffee on the go. Found an insulated lunch set that has a lunch bag and the bottle for just $17 at target. On Amazon the bottle alone is $28. Win. Thinking about picking up another one to tote my tea for the day.

Thinkpad T520, for university this fall. Comes preloaded with lots of goodies (Maple 14, Matlab, Office, etc), so I save money big time on software worth more than the laptop itself. :)

(I didn't really buy it, though. I had to pay a 100$ deposit, and I'll pick the computer up at the start of the semester.)

That's quite the first body and lens for someone just starting out. I am supremely jealous! Many who've taken photos for years still make do with far less. Have fun!

Grats on your new piece!

1.5 hours? Wow, fast tattooist, especially for that size and amount of detail. Awesome.

Mine is a little smaller than a coaster, and it took 1 hour 20 minutes. Thanks for the grats.....it's a nice addition to my collection.

Just bought these weight-lifting gloves, as the pair I'm currently using have worn down too much. I've been using this brand/model for around 10 years now. They breathe well, don't make my hands too sweaty, and don't smell.
