@chrono1081, great gift for the dog Mr. Tanuki

He seems to love it! I put him in the kayak to get him used to it (before we go into the water) and he wouldn't get out unless I took him out. He's very content in it as long as he has a dog biscuit. (See attached)

That's terrible man. I'm sorry.

Hope you get everything sorted out in your favor soon!

Thanks! I'll know in 6 - 8 weeks.

Luckily the boat is not punctured. I took it to the water to test yesterday but the hull does have soft spots where the damage is and the one crease can be felt on the inside of the kayak so I'm sure I will probably need to get it repaired.

peapody, why is Surely the thread starter instead of you?

I'm not the thread starter "instead of" her. peapody doesn't own the Purchases thread, neither do I, and neither does anyone else who has ever started one of them (or any thread, for that matter). I happened to notice that the old threads had reached the 2,000 post mark, and so I started the new one. That is what is traditionally done around here for graphics-heavy threads. However, I think I read somewhere that it's no longer necessary to do anymore, but it's still done.

I hope that helps to explain things further.:)

There's hardly a difference in weight and size between the plus and the air. The Air retails for $79.99 and I got the plus for $81. Pretty much a no brainer :D

Cool.....exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I've been pondering getting one for a while, but couldn't decide between the two. Thanks.

I love the orange chicken......I just never eat there.:p

I remember seeing an interview on 60 Minutes (I think?) of the founder/owner of Panda Express. He went on and on about his healthy lifestyle, and how important it is to eat properly. The interviewer then asked him that if he believes that, how does he explain the high calorie, high fat foods that is served at his restaurants? It was fun to watch him try and answer that one.:D

Speaking of health foods, we opted to have this for our weekly dessert:

I was just sitting around the other day wondering why I didn't have a bean bag for videogaming like when I was a kid. So I ordered one of these tonight, should get here in a few days.

*unfortunately it seems the girl isn't included. :(
