Best advice: Stay off of automatic and program mode! Start with a priority mode such as shutter or aperture priority (I suggest shutter priority, its easier to see the effects) and learn to use it well. Once you master it switch to the other priority mode, learn the effects, then switch to full manual, LEARN TO READ THE EXPOSURE METER (its really simple) and then learn how to control ISO.

I know that sounds like a mouthful but you'll pick it up fast if you learn those basics right away.

Where did you buy it? It's sold under the name of "T2i" in the US, so I'm just curious as to why you're referring to it by its European name.

Amazon. I just say 550D because it's easier to say than T2i. lol. Easier to remember, too.

My new running sneakers. Switching from an uncomfy pair of Zigtechs that replaced a worn pair of Lunarglides. These are the most comfortable so far. Zigs had better colors, but these make me feel like I could outrun Usain Bolt. Or at least a zombie apocalypse.
