I just noticed in DP4 a new option for increasing contrast under Accessibility in Sys Prefs (I only had DP3 before and haven't seen this before). This setting makes the UI elements to stand out better, especially on my 1680x1050 screen. Here you have some pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gwrmyye9z38esl4/AAC7qqDw5y9S-C6wZvBvH-CMa

That seems like a pretty good feature - those screenshots definitely show clearer text.

Which is great - I was a little worried about clarity on my Thunderbolt display.

Finder, the built in file manager in OS X. lol.

It's "Control Center" from Cindori.

It emulates the iOS7/8 Control Center with many more features. When Apple announced that OS X 10.10 would not have a left side control center panel, the developer(s) have been kicking it up a notch, adding system resources (i.e. iStat Menus), media controls, fast user feature toggle's (wifi, bluetooth, showing hidden files and desktop items), network monitor, timers, battery indicator, display settings, etc. It's had a lot of recent updates with more to come. Can also be themed, using a dark theme with dark mode on DP4. Great app!

Control Center by Cindori.org (7$ Full version or 7 Day Trial)

The dial pad app is called Continuity Keypad (Free beta) and only works if your iPhone uses iOS 8 beta 3. I made them the dock icon you see in my dock, it will be featured in their next update. (If not already)

For those who wants the wallpaper, I'm sorry I can't remember where I downloaded it from but I will look for it.

I knew about Control Center, but was going nuts trying to figure out if Continuity Keypad was part of FaceTime audio or something I missed.

This is awesome! I just downloaded the beta and will give it a go. Thanks so much for the heads-up! (this is one of the reasons I love MacRumors, you learn something new everyday) :)

Bummer, I missed the iOS 8 Beta 3 requirement. Hopefully it'll get up and running with 4 soon. Thanks!

Sorry, he just said @blablaname and the @blablaname had uploaded more than one image so thought he meant "Finder" because i couldn't see which picture he quoted.

No need to apologize :) Online communication can be confusing. I use Control Center so thought I'd help, until I realized he edited and entered in the information.

What do the buttons in Control Center do? Can you add/remove features from it?

The only "buttons" are to enable/disable stuff like airplane mode, wifi, DND, setting the scroll lock and shortcuts to the flashlight, the clock, the calculator and the camera.

There is no customization.

So the reason this guy's Control Center looks so different is because they changed it so much from release to release? https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/19374474/

Edit: Duh, just got it, that's not even part of Yosemite, it's an extension!

After redeeming nothing happened no download started, anyone know what I do now? :apple:

*Update it is downloading, if anyone else needs to know you just have to click purchases to see it*

Here are mine with the dark and light modes. The dark mode's translucency is absolutely beautiful!

I bet Apple is going to a more stylish and simplified UI like the Unix interface back in 1997 with the O2 Silicon Graphics computers.
