Are you beta testing the photos app?

Wish I was.. It's only a replacement icon I made for iMazing.app and it's meant to look like Photos.

I don't think Apple even will do a beta for Photos, it will probably come in some 10.10.1 update sometime in early 2015 or it will come through the App Store.

Well the problem with having a beta for Photos would mean it could risk all your Photos from iCloud considering Photos is very very iCloud/iCloud Drive focused.

If they plan for a beta, it would be strictly for Developers and not public beta testers, considering the risk.

Interesting that you use uBar, I heard it mentioned in the talk show podcast with John Gruber. Right after I heard that, I saw a lot of people using it, and here I thought barely anyone listened to the podcast

How is it? Do you like it? Does it completely replace the Dock?

The simplicity of everything in B&W (including menus) has its appeal for me...

You simply go into Accessibility and click "use Greyscale" to get that effect. Everything will be black and white, including your favourite movies... That's my take on dark mode...
