Here is my November set up!

Running OS X 10.10.3 Beta 1.

...And yes, I love Photos! Such a clean and great upgrade from iPhoto but lacking when it comes to editing compared to Aperture unfortunately.


The wallpaper is just a upscaled version of the iPad iOS 8 wallpaper. Google it, upscale it and wollah!

The music player square is from Silicio which you can get from the MAS for free.

Since Apple is now promoting this wallpaper with 10.10.3 and The New Macbook (I don't know why) I gave it a go too and I like it. It's easy on the eyes.
Before it I had the default one.

My March desktop running OS X 10.10.3 DP 2.

I found these awesome gradient colored folders which gives the folders atleast a little more face lift rather than those horrible blue shaded folders. Either you like these or you don't but here is a link if you do:

The Skype, VLC and QuikTime (Movie icon) icons are made by me and you can find them over at atopsy.deviantart.com

Just a clean, simple set up and I always change my folder icons mostly every month as well as other things so I never have 1 certain look

Haha, I don't mind it. It's one of the 2 or 3 UI issues I'd change but it's not terrible. I just saw a flat version of the old icon and thought it looked pretty spiffy so I used it. It kind of doesn't match but it's not a big deal to me.

Huh, the new icons don't look bad with the 3d dock. Apple probably should've kept the 3d dock as an option for people.

I need to update from 10.10.1, but I've been too lazy to open the App Store and hit update. This wallpaper will probably stay until we lose or bball season is over, whichever comes first. Then I'll run a rotating set of 18 wallpapers for The Masters until it concludes.

Here's dark mode with a darkish wallpaper I posted in another thread.

I've already stopped using it for now though, it gets old quick and the light mode is timeless. I'll probably switch every few days to switch things up.
