How did you make your own Live Photo?!
How did you combine the .mov and .jpg files and get your phone to recognise them as a Live Photo?
I used An overly elaborate cheat.

it is a live photo of my FCPx workstation screen taken in a dark room with a tripod. I simply used a stock photo of an iMac on a black background, then faded in the apple logo.

I hit play, then took the live photo.

I am sure there will be an application to make these down the road, I just wanted something unique to my watch :) .

Aha! Nicely done, I like your ingenuity!

Do you have any more of the smilie pic, diff expression etc
Haven't done anymore but they are very easy to do. Although I did have to send them as SMS to myself and then save the picture as they need to be repositioned. I guess you could have an album of them and use the photo album clock face to change expressions every time you activate your watch.

It would be awesome if you did a few more, I am rubbish at doing anything graphic...... :)

That's exactly what I was thinking I'm going to have to do with my After Dark screen saver ...

But are these files you posted supposed to play as Live Photos on an iOS 9 supported device? If so, I'm not sure how to make that happen. They appear as static photos to me, not even the movie file component.

No, those were just screenshots actually.

Ah, got it. So is the only way to get a viewable native Live Photo is for the 6S to send it directly to a compatible device? And will that work only via Apple's iMessage, or e-mail accounts? And which end of the process converts the files to .jpgs and .movs? Is it the receiving iPhone? Or does the 6S automatically send out three files?
