Can the "calculator" faces have the "LCD" lightened enough to cause the AW to switch to black numbers?

I tried a couple of times but the "LCD" screen comes out paper white which sorta kills it.

Also, I think the OS averages the Contrast for the whole image. So since almost 2/3 of the image is black, the time displays white.

I'm just experimenting with different faces in Photoshop, someone asked about the Hermes face a few pages ago...if someone likes it, they can have it. If not, don't download it.
I totally "get" it! Thanks to you and a little tweaking in photo shop, I smile every time I glance at the time on my watch. I also have used the simple face with world clock complication so I can glance and digitally read the time, so seeing the numerals (without hands) doesn't seem odd at all. Thank you for this jpg!

So glad Apple took there time to get this feature right! ;-)

PhillyGuy, that scoreboard would be a kickass full-face "complication".

Yeah, I think the biggest drawback of the custom photo face option is the lack of complications. I get why you'd want to leave much of the face open to see the background image, but creative designers could create some nice options to blend in with any complications also on the screen. For that reason, I personally find the custom photo face option useless.
