By the amount of people that liked my post, they seem to agree with me.Not dismissing any 8+ photos, with or without telephoto lens. I just want to see more 8 photos, or 8 with 8 Plus so of an 8 Plus photo is posted you can compare with an 8.

iPhone 8/Plus Post photos taken with iPhone 8

Took these this afternoon on my 8+
The camera is a massive improvement over my 6S+
This picture is taken from iphone 8 plus and it is low light hdr picture but its great.. In fact, the iPhone 8 Plus scored a 51 in zoom sub-score which is the highest for any mobile device...

I'm gonna say it right off the bat: the camera on my iPhone 8 Plus is plain amazing. It wasn't like the camera on the iPhone 7 was bad or something, but especially portrait mode and optical zoom alone are incredible. These are some photos I made using portrait mode. It's not perfect, but I really like it! And for those interested, I have included the ISO and the shutter speed for each photo.

I noticed how the iPhone 8 Plus seems to capture sharper photos compared to my iPhone 7. In fact, in the example below, the difference is like day and night. The iPhone 7 photo looks kind of washed out, whereas the one made with iPhone 8 Plus is very sharp. I like the iPhone 8 Plus more obviously. But it seems a bit odd how much it differs. Did not expect this at all. Is it even normal?

I'll be doing more photos the upcoming days. But so far I'm really digging this camera. Glad I decided to go for the iPhone 8 Plus and not the regular iPhone 8.

Of all the pics on this thread, so far, I think this one may demonstrate the capabilities of the iPhone 8 (vs previous models) the best. In particular, it is very well exposed showing detail in the buildings, the cars, and other dark objects while still preserving the details (fairly well) in the highlights of the clouds and the blue of the sky.
Maybe this is due to the improved "pixel depth"? As I understand it, dynamic range is supposed to be the specific benefit of this feature.

Ah! I'm not familiar with the non-US models as they only ever offered 128i (with the ugly base bumper) and the 135i.
Fun little cars though, I don't think I'll ever sell it.

It’s remapped as well, as the standard engine is from the 130i (hatchback), but restricted by about 50bhp in the 125i.
So now it’s around 270bhp.

These indoor images look really well exposed! I really wonder how much better the 8+ is in this compared with my 7+. It's enough to make me re-think upgrading!
