Nothing should be that sickeningly and adorably cute. Just nothing.
I agree. He was quite the spectacle at the vets office. Every assistant in the place had to hold him and then he started getting passed around to visitors there with their own pets and waiting on their pets (from grooming). I was starting to worry whether he was going to make it back to me.

Hm.

He'll be an appalling flirt, then, used to adoration; actually, that sort of attention should serve to socialise him beautifully.

I knew a couple who used to take in guide dogs - well, puppies - (trainee guide dogs) from shortly after the time they were weaned until they were sent (at an age of between 12-18 months) to guide dog school, and socialise them, teach them basic skills, get them used to different environments.

They had (still have) a stall in the ancient weekly farmer's market, and the guide dog puppies wore a bib, stating that they were guide dogs in training, when they were walked through the market; they were handsome and sweet animals anyway, but everyone simply oooo-ed and aaa-ed over them, melting, positive experiences which - if anything - reinforced their positive and open temperaments and sweet and gentle dispositions.

What is his age, breed, and name?

Needless to say, he is absolutely gorgeous.

Interesting story. I am all for good socializing skills. We take our pups to the beach once or twice a year and they get walked in very populated areas where everyone wants to pet them. Our last pup was a rescue that had trust issues, so I was worried about kids sticking their hands near his mouth. Luckily, he never bit anybody, but I would tell people to stay away (which they never listened to).

He is a mini-schnauzer (black and silver) and was born on May 4th. His name is Obi-Little-Wan.

View attachment 706503 Say hi to Loki, our new Bengal kitten. He's a marble, hence the markings, and has made best buddies with our big guy Jax!

Several months on, Loki now weighs in at 3 Kilos, and is a complete lunatic. He has bonded so well with our big Bengal boy Jax, and our female Bengal Star, has almost accepted him too.
