Since I got a new ring flash, I thought I would try taking some "macro" pics of my new pet. Not really macro pics since I took them with my kit lens, but I think this one turned out pretty good:

The ring flash is so cool it let me get away with these settings and still be spot-on with the exposure:
18-55mm kit lens @ 53 mm
f11, 1/200, ISO 100
Indoor light, manual focus
PS: BTW, I think I'm going to go with "Akuma" for the name, since everybody liked it. To me, it'll always be Scolopendra sp.
