all these dogs are so cute. I really want a chocolate lab but it just wouldnt be fair to the dog. no good place to run around here and they like to be really active in general.

@xUKHCx Really sorry to hear that. By any chance did you teach Cai how to catch a frisbee? Dixie is great at catching tennis balls in the air, but she can't catch a frisbee in mid-air. I know Border Collies are great frisbee dogs. So I was just wondering if Cai was a frisbee dog. Here's some pics of Dixie catching tennis balls in mid-air:

Video notes -- Obviously it is done on iMovie. Video is shot with my Sanyo Exacti HD1000. The music is right out of Garage Band.

@MattyK Great pictures. May I ask what camera you used?

BTW, does anyone's dog know how to play frisbee? I'm looking for some tips on how to teach my dog to catch a frisbee. Thanks

My 4 year old Golden Retriever, Molly...She will be 5 in July. She also responds to "Pooch", "Pup", "Molly-moo", "Wupums" and "Miss".

1. Sleeping next to my sneakers...a pass time for her.
2. Again...
3. Buried on the couch.
4. Sleeping on her back...she does this when shes super tired, naps are taken care of right side up.
5. Keeping a keen on the squirrels outside on the lawn...she is the keeper of the squirrels in the neighborhood, and the birds for that matter.

^_^ i got 2 kittys, Mr Tiggie turd, and Meat

Stats.
Mr Tiggie turd is two 3rds longer than Meat and weighs in at 12 Kg, he is also cross eyed and sleeps under the duvet allot even in the summer. ^_^ he is my wonderful "old man".

Meat is often called peppy la poo, and climbs up trees and eats bird eggs, dust, sick, leaves, gold fish and bees except the bee that spent a long time stinging him in the side. He annoys Mr Tiggie turd and often ends up being scratched. He weighs in at 4.5 Kg and is average size for a kitty cat.

In Memory Of

Here's Petra (short for petrified). 18 years old and I had to put her down today. She was very skittish and hid whenever someone would come over. In her old age, she mellowed out and would wander in the room even if someone new was around. Her body was shutting down, she wasn't eating, and probably wouldn't have survived any medical procedure. Her most memorable trait was that she drooled when she was happy...and not the little drops of water drool....she'd get strings of drool that would extend 3-5 inches before they broke off....disgusting, but pretty funny.

Sylvester is the longer haired cat, seen alone in one picture and his son Junior is the cat laid next to him on the other. They've been in our home since February 2008 and were rescue cats from the RSPCA.

While Sylvester settled in straightaway, showing himself to he extremely laid back and somewhat of a house cat, Junior in contrast is very nervous indeed and likes to be outside for most of the day (seems like he might be quite high up in the local cat hierarchy :p ). While he has improved a lot, he still runs at the slightest sound or movement, hence the lack of a photograph alone.
