My birthday's Thursday, so my BFF knit me this scarf.

iOS 7.1 runs well enough on an iPhone 4 and up until a few months ago, it was the "true feel for iOS". While I agree it won't be a fluid brand new feel, it shows the fundamentals and charms of iOS.

No, i know. I'm just stating my own opinion

Plus, going from a 4 to a 6 will be one hell of an enjoyable experience.

Going from a 4 to my 5S last December in the days of iOS 7.0.3 was one enjoyable experience as well. The 4 was a dog under 7.0.x. At least 7.1.x was as fast as iOS 6 on the 4.

I went from 4 to 5, with a few months of Android in between, and it was quite a jump, the 5 was just a lovely device to behold, and it felt just as great going from the 5 to the 6

Lucky! Very nice find! How did you get the Xserve?

A friend and I snatched up a "lots of computer stuff - it's free but you have to take all of it" deal on the local Craigslist. He took away about 4 PowerEdges from the same era. I also got a few Socket 775 towers (which I've spent all week rebuilding) and a TON of hard drives and SCSI controllers, which I'm too geeky to throw in the trash.

Nice deal! What type of hard drives are they?

Mainly small SCSI drives, there's a thread in the marketplace of all the stuff I don't need. There were quite a few 500GB SATA drives, but they're in the Xserve now, and a 1TB that went into a Core 2 Quad tower that was in the loot.

Not a bad haul! We don't get that sort of stuff here on Craigslist.

That's super... happy birthday!
Thanks.
Cute. I bet she chose the present!
:D I'm pretty sure you're right, though my brother is my dog's favorite person ever, thanks to the ridiculous spoiling.

This is the second half of their present. I was looking for a little Bluetooth speaker that would match the red accents in my kitchen, so this was perfect.

I won a contest! Going to Closer To The Sun just outside of Cancun, Mexico in a few short weeks! I NEVER win anything, so when I was notified that I won an all inclusive, paid trip to this festival, I was STOKED!

Gonna rage.
