You can PM what you're looking for and I can try to make one.no ive been looking for one
I must be an idiot, because I can't find the blank one on my springboard. Am I doing something wrong?
You just take the blank.app folder and drop it into applications, like the nice Bear Hunter said...and it should be there....right?
I'm having the same problem as you. I ssh'd them into the folder and just to make sure they were there I went into categories and it showed that they were there and that I can move them into categories. However when I go look at my home screen I can't seem to find them anywhere. What does happen though is when the icons start to wiggle I notice that there is another page available but it is empty and if I move my hard drive icon it keeps creating new pages, but as soon as I hit the home button everything goes back to one page and it stays the same as it was before. Hopefully bear hunter can help us out again.![]()
How in the world did you get "Tap to Unlock"? and also the weather things on the bottom sides. How so may I ask?
Tap to unlock is a custom slider from Cydia, and the weather widget is discusses a couple of pages back in this same thread.
Any idea what it's called?
It's literally called tap to unlock sliders on cydia.
@Bear Hunter
Thanks for the info I was actuallly extracting the zip file and putting the contents on my phone. I'll try renaming it instead and ssh'ing that to my phone here in a little bit as soon as my buddy gets off my computer.. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!!

Remember to check the first blank spot on the last page and also if you SSH more than one you will have to change the name so it doesn't overwrite the original. ie) Blank, Blank1, Blank2, etc..

All right I did what you said and categories shows that the blank apps are there. However its having the same problem. It shows on the homescreen that I don't have any additional app pages. So when I make the icons wiggle then it shows that there are actually 2 pages. So I go on the second page and there is actually nothing there to move when I try to use my finger as if I am trying to move an icon. So I go back to the first page and try to move my hard drive icon and it goes to the second page but then it creates a third page and if I keep dragging the hard drive icon right it keeps making an additional page. Then when I hit the home button to lock the positions the hard drive icon goes back to the first page and it shows that there are no other pages. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Do I have to chmod the Blank apps? I've tried setting them to 755 and 775, but it still does the same thing.
Any ideas?
BearHunter, is that Blank.app folder empty, if not what's in it? Is it even a folder? Sorry I'm using Vista and your screencap shows a Folder icon. When I ssh it doesn't show a folder icon for it.
This is what it looks like for me:

Also, I tried to hold down the blank space next to tmy hard drive icon and even after 2 minutes nothing wiggles. Thanks for bearing with me.
No problem...Here is what it should look like after you SSH the .app into your phone

I've done everything exactly as said here, and I still don't get the blanks to show up. There has got to be some step we are skipping.
All right that is exactly how it looks on my phone, do I have to set any permissions? The permissions are set to 755 right now, is that good?
Yep, 755 is good. If your not showing a second page after loading the app and a respring, it is definately on the first page somewhere. The only thing I can think of to do is to place your finger and hold on each blank spot on your screen where an icon would be as if your page was full of apps.
I guarantee you that it is there. Make sure your haven't hidden the app (check Boss Prefs)...and make sure you didn't load it into a category because if you loaded it into a category it automatically hides the icon from the hompage.
Are you on windows as well? Not sure how that would make a difference, but who knows....

ARGH I hate BossPrefs!! That is what it was it was set to OFF in BossPrefs. Wow all that time trying to get this to work and it was BossPrefs the entire time. Thanks a lot BearHunter! I would have never thought that BossPrefs would automatically set it to OFF like that.
