About My Mac.

She runs like a "Asafa Powell" on 16 cans of Red Bull...

Dell Optiplex GX260
1GB RAM
64MB VRAM - imbedded
250GB HDD - upgraded from 80GB.
266Mhz FSB

You get the picture ... yeah Mac's had it MUCH better than PC's back in da day.

It's not a "real" Mac

Bingo. Hackintosh at work (Thinkpad x60s) and real iMac (20", 2.4 GHz) at home. (I think I messed up the screen shot).

Ahh... I didnt know the 10.5.3 update worked on Hackintoshes yet, it said on InsanleyMac not to install it... Guess you dont listen to them :D

You can install it using a couple of terminal commands and the Apple combo update. There are some threads on insanelymac about this. I think a few hacked update packages have been released as well, but I'm not 100 percent sure.

Since HDs have been going down in price my 2TB doesn't seem as big as it used to. Maybe I will up it to 4TB this year and add some RAM also.

I rip about 5 movies a week and a few TV shows. I need a lot of HD space and double that as backup. My DVD collection is over 2k. A week has not gone by over the last 10 years that I have not purchased at least one DVD.

Texas, unfortunately.
Leopard was giving me way too many problems (random restarts, wireless drooping out, an overall slow interface, etc.) So I "downngraded" to Tiger. Gotta say, that was a great decision, this thing is uber-snappy now. :)
