I have it water cooled. The hardest part was getting my 1600Mhz RAM to play nice with OS X. It seems that OS X hates memory faster then 800 Mhz.

Per my sig I usually have it running at 3.67 which allows the run at 800 Mhz which keeps the system more stable.

I get a 5300 Geekbench score with the 4.25 setting, which is about as fast as these chips will go.
 
Not the best, but I love it to death. :)

1. seeing as though the new laptops are 1066mhz i dont think its a problem with memory faster than 800mhz. the issue probably lies somewhere else.

2. that would be incredibly fast!

oh rub it in. my iMac G3 DV died about a month back, very upset its an awsome machine
 
You are probably right.

Something in there could probably be tweaked... :confused:

I don't have the expertise to figure it out though. It tears through Elements and plays a good game of Command And Conquer and that's what I need.
