How's this for a blast from the past? Just got 10.2 installed on this guy the other day. Still running well after 10 years.

im SO jealous! my imac died a few months ago.. miss it everyday.

up that puppy to 1gb and your sweet as!! i have a 512mb and a 256mb stick at mine if you wanna pay for postage :p

Yeah, I've got my G3's still alive. Good old original iMac G3 next to it's speed equivalent PowerBook G3... they've been good computers for me, though they're retired (as you can see from my sig, I got the PowerBook up and running again, though the battery is shot; the iMac has been going flawlessly for its entire life).

(here's a pic of them before I got OSX on them)

perfect for media servers/itunes servers and whatnot! make great storage devices. make the perfect email/news checkers!!! so awsome!!!!!! i am so spewing that mine died :(

any links to where you got everything from? how hard is it to change it back after you mod it up??

macthemes forum is were i got them, they are called HUD mods

and its not hard to change the stuff back as long as u have it backed up

X-Bench: 16.28, oh yeah. I'm going to install a SATA PCI card and Superduper the data over this Friday probably. See if I can up my benchie a little bit. The built in ATA33 is hella-slow. This machine has a PC GeForce2mx 400 I flashed to Mac, and all the ram I could find in the office. Runs solid. Use it for iTunes and testing websites on Mac.
