14gigs of RAM? May I ask what you do? Video editing? Programming?
Nope, I'm just an extreme power user who does tech support for a living.

I had 10 GB until last month; added 4 GB more because I am shortly about to install Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 (x64) on my Mac Pro in a VMware Fusion VM, and SBS 2008 requires a minimum of 4 GB of RAM.

But RAM is so cheap now (this last 4 GB didn't even cost me $100) that I have no doubt I'll be making the leap to 16 GB (replacing the original 2 1 GB modules that came with the machine with a pair of 2 GB modules) or even higher (possibly 20 GB total) sometime later this year.

There you have it. My AMD Hackintosh. Being replaced with a 24 inch iMac as soon as they release it.

wow how does it run??

Hey, thanks for asking. It runs fantastic. It's not Leopard by far, but has every possible functionality in it. It is also a lot faster than Windows, and everything is running, only thing that I had to do was to get an extra PCI network card.
