Here's something a little more exotic than all those 2.0GHZ Core Duos :p

Ooooohhh G4 XServe. I like :)

Nope, it's actually just a Dual 1.42GHz MDD with Panther server on it. The proper Xserve is downstairs. I'll have to see if I can get a pic of that one.

In the meantime, here's my own last shot for this thread - my Sawtooth Project (which I'm using to write this!). :D

1. They do (you can buy 2x2 GB dimms and have 4 gigs)...<snip>...

Has anyone tried that yet?
I would love to have 4 gigs in my iMac but the price of a 2gig 200pin SODIMM is outrageous!

For those who don't know how, you can use CMD-SHIFT-4, and crosshairs will appear.
Hit the spacebar and it'll turn into a camera, taking a shot of the first window you click on.

Thanks...

For now it's just dead quiet, as white as can be and fast as lightening... :D

Only problem, so far, is that the tips of my fingers are numb (and slightly painful) from pressing in 4 x 1 GB RAM into my boss' and my MacBook... man, you gotta use force to get those little b***** in there... and that I keep hitting caps lock instead of the A key... :p

I made a completely new account and are transferring all data and reinstalling apps manually... just to clean up a bit... probably going to be busy for hours... maybe days...
