Sure, I'll play along.
My very first Apple product was a green 5th Gen iPod Nano I got for Christmas 2009.. Had 16 GBs of storage, which at the time, was a lot.
Anyways, I really didn't get any more Apple products until Christmas 2012. This is when I got my very first smartphone. I got an iPhone 3GS. My dad got me one for X-mas refurbished from GameStop.
This was my favorite smartphone every, still is (hell, I even think of switching back to it for the simplicity). I went to a Kutless concert in 2013, and ironically, my iPhone was stolen.
So my mom was paying my phone bill at the time (as my parents were divorced), and so we went out to AT&T and I was up for an upgrade, and I got an iPhone 4.
Well after graduating high school my favorite iPod got broken... after a long day of working around the house, I had just my knife and iPod on me. I threw off my pants and threw them in the wash forgetting my iPod was in there... I haven't made that mistake again.
My uncle then sent me a 4th Gen iPod Nano. I still have it just for collector's purposes.
Then one day after work. I found an original 2G iPhone sitting in the middle of the parking lot. I kept it, ******* move? Maybe.. but it works perfectly, and it's in pretty decent condition too!
I bought an iPhone 5 at one point, but sold it to a friend. I wanted extra cash, and he wanted an iPhone 5.
In 2014, my grandparents knew I'd been wanting an iPad and they got me an iPad 3. I still use it, but god does iOS 8 and 9 kill it.
In 2015, I got with my tax returns, the newest Mac Mini. Intel Core i5 @ 2.6Ghz. 8GBs of RAM, a 1 TB HDD. (Which with my AppleCare being over, I'm thinking of swapping out for an SSD)
Then I gave away my old laptop. But then I started college. I needed another laptop! So I read around the internet about people still using Apple laptops from 2006, 2007, 2008. I figured, what the hell, if they can last that long, I'll give it a try. So I bought from iSelliMac, my 2010 MacBook, like a month later. I decked it out with a 4GB stick and a 1GB stick it came with at the time, and then I put in a 120 GB SSD, which I later bumped up to a 240 GB SSD.
Since I got into repairing laptops for people around this small town, I've gotten a bunch of DDR3 RAM sticks everywhere, so I put in another 4GB stick.
Then, unfortunately... after years with AT&T, they kept cutting off my service, involving a month long of calling back and forth to get it back on. I paid all my bills on time, so I had no choice but to sell my HTC One M8 (second favorite smartphone of all time) and get an iPhone 5S, which I also really like.
I also got an Apple Watch Sport around this time.
Anywoozle. I really liked the Mac experience, and I wanted to collect... at least from the point of Steve Jobs' return to today. So I got a 12" PowerBook G4 1.33 GHz for like $20. Then I got a 15" PowerBook G4 1.5 GHz (with backlit keyboard). Then I got 3 iBook G3s for like $15 all together. They were broken, and I used the best parts to make one good one. Then the newest to my collection was made earlier this year. I got a 2006 MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo model. Then a 2006 black MacBook, 2 Ghz model.
And recently, my boss gave me like 3 2nd generation iPod touches. I kept the 32 GB one, which I have recently filled to capacity. So I gave that one to my stepdad and I bought the newest generation iPod touch with 64 GBs of storage. I also found out, the new iPod touch will bend in your pocket.
Weird I know. But yeah. I'm still trying to find a good deal on a iBook Clamshell, but I haven't check in about a month.
