Here's a picture I took using my camcorder (for the first time) while I was at the Olympics in February. These are the mountains above Cesana Pariol in Italy. I didn't do any post-processing, this is how it looked in person.

And prettier...

Chip, I really like your abstract photo. Well done.

Not the best photo, was taken with the Styles 800 on the highest setting.

I have more pictures of my land in north carolina here

That's really nice work, Chip. :)

Thanks iGary (and Clix and gauchogolfer). First I have always been drawn to abstracts. But also the "mundane". Hotel rooms, meals out, and dare I say bathrooms.

An example from my trip to Chicago back in October. Some other examples cane be seen in this thread { https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=2377453 }

So THAT's what a men's room looks like! Well, whaddya know....
:D :D :D :D :D

Eh, a little bit off-topic in this thread, but interesting nonetheless! Maybe we should have a thread featuring abstracts? Or one featuring bathrooms? LOL!

You owe me a new keyboard on that one. LOL! :) :) :) :) :)

(Darn, I should not have my Diet Pepsi near by when reading some of these threads)

That is, by far, the biggest public toilet I have every seen in my whole life.

It's huge! You could run around in there. Though I have no idea why you'd want to.

Sorry that I seemed to have hijacked the thread. Never thought that toilets would have sparked such interest. :)

To try and bring this back on to topic, here is an image from my Las Vegas October 2000 trip.

Another one

Last week, swiss vineyards.

People told me that my framing did not accentuate enough the contrast between horizontal and vertical lines. I like the shot, and it could look even better with color adjustments. But here it is:

Thanks for the critiques:)
