Been there! Buddy lives like 5 or 6 blocks from there. Small world!
I remember their awesome pastries, cappuccino, not so good.

Yeah they have some good stuff there. It depends on who makes your coffee so sometimes they can be not as great as they should be.

Went for a meal out with my dad tonight at the restaurant where my brother works as a chef.

My dad had roast monkfish and rare breed pork belly served with creamed potato, celeriac puree, girolle mushrooms and port jus...

I had roast pork tenderloin wrapped in parma ham served with fondant potato, baby broccoli, butternut squash and a red wine sauce...

All of it was amazing. It's not very often that we get a chance to eat there as it's pretty busy and expensive, but well worth it when we do.

Ben, looks like your bro is doing well for himself. If I could only do half as much of that...
I had leftover shepherd's pie with creamy bacon green bean casserole, scarfed it down too quick to snap a pic.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll be sure to pass them on to him.

He's only 18 and been in the job for just shy of a year I think. Great place for him to start. I was told that he was too busy to prepare mine and my dad's meals unfortunately but most meals there are presented in a similar way. It's funny you should mention Gordon Ramsay as my brother has 3/4 books on the guy covering hundreds of dishes that he is constantly reading.

zomg, I love this thread already :D

The picture doesn't do the dish justice, but it's the Creamy Parmesan Portobello with Penne pasta at Olive Garden.

It's part of their never ending pasta bowl campaign that is going on now.

It's soooooo delicious!
