I wasn't aware that ours was that fast. The upload speed still seems slow compared to what others are getting.

sooooo so jealous. got a spare room i can stay in haha?? we get 2gb per semester free (we pay for it thru our fees) anything after that we have to "recharge".. lame...

Damn, that sucks. I could easily use a gig per month just surfing the internet.

Tomorrow I'll plug into a gigabit interface, should go a bit over 100Mb/s up and down.

Yeah, my internet is about twice as fast as dial up. Still not great, considering it's about $100 a month.

Sorry, I just left the States, and will be out for 2 months back in the home country where Internet pipelines are in baby stages.... sigh ... back to 1.5 Mb/s (up/down)....

Another person I hate now... but you use a college connection, so, no harm.

With you that makes 3...

About 100 feet from an 3 mbit cable connection (which would cost a much more reasonable $40 a month), that the company refuses to extend down my street.

Can't you make friends with someone living 100ft away, donate them a wireless router and you have an acceptable internet connection?

I wouldn't mind helping you out. But then we have fibre to the home here... :)

At work right now.
My home speed is like D: 6mb, U:0.5mb. :(

I was pretty close with my estimate this morning. :D

PS. Just so you guys don't think I travel almost 2000 kms for work everyday, I work in Duesseldorf, at a colocation center, and Speedtest suggested a server in Madrid, Spain. O well. :)
