I do... but for some reason Vista doesn't like either of my Raptors! I took them out of RAID to avoid dealing with driver issues BTW.

On the moon.
Now you just need something better than the 8600GTS.

I just rebuilt my PC, selling off almost all my other computer stuff.

Intel Core i7 920 @ 4GHz
Xigmatek 4 Heatpipe Direct Touch CPU Cooler
6GB G.Skill DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UDP4 Mainboard with Intel X58 Chipset
Sapphire ATI Radeon 4850X2 2GB Quad DVI Output
Corsair TX850W Power Supply
400+400+400+250+250+250 GB 7200RPM Hard Disks
Dual 22X LG DVD-RW with Lightscribe
Antec Nine Hundred Case
Sony GDM-FW900 24" CRT + IBM 19" CRT
Logitech G11 Keyboard + Razer Deathadder Mouse + Razer Barracuda 5.1 Headphones

I'll get pics once the video card gets back from getting RMAed. I dont know what happened, but it just shorted everything out. ~_~

The computer was playing Crysis and Crysis Warhead at 55+FPS at 1920x1200, Very High.

The card is so long its ass end is sitting in the drive bay. :D

First off, I agree with you, iMpathetic, you should get a better video card.

Now then, only 55fps? With my Core 2 Quad computer with a 8800GT SC, I got 50+ fps 1920x1200.

Just throwing everything together. I once killed a hard drive when I was modding my xbox. My desk is a folding table and I had it sitting on the metal braces to the legs because I was tired of taking it in/out of the case. :p
I guess that's not too bad since it's the only thing I've ever killed.

Ah, yes :D. It's actually just out because I was testing out all the parts to make sure they worked ok before I stuck them in the "rack".

After seeing this I just had to make my own to run BOINC - but on a very limited budget, adding PC's as I got them. Here's what it looked like before the Phenom, I'll update the photo as I add the third 'pooter in there:

Yeah, that guys rig is pretty damn sexy. ;)
I thought about using some of the old machines I have laying around and messing around with a cluster, but I don't know what I could use it for.

I actually started building a wooden rack in woods in highschool. I was just going to put all the old/misc rigs I had laying around in it so they were all contained and easily managed. I got the shell finished and realized that whenever I needed to put a new one in I would have to build a custom case since I wasn't making a standard rack. That, and I didn't really know where I'd put it.

I may make one someday. I'll certainly have to plan it better. Having it all self contained with switch/router and a kvm would be pretty slick.

Very High, with 4x AA on.

I am currently using an 8800GTS, and I can do High with no AA at 25-30FPS, same resolution. The 4850X2 had to get RMAed.

Motherboard: Gigabyte M61PME-S2 Motherboard
CPU: AMD 5200 X2 2.7 GHz
MSI 8600GTS (Happy with this as I get DVI out and I don't need it for gaming)
2GB Ram
250 GB Sata HD

Had it running Vista for a couple days, but changed it 10.5.6 and it runs sooo much better.

Not really custom but sort of built-to-order, here's my Alienware Area51-7500. What can I say, I like blue led's
I know a lot of people dislike the Alienware case but I've always loved it. Truly, though, this was only purchased because Apple wouldn't give me a big enough credit limit to get an iMac last Feb. but Alienware (Dell) did.

Would have snapped that up but my budget dropped $100. I am really sorry.

Thank you, you just showed me my new case for my Linux server. :p

You're welcome! :D

Although they used to be $50 or so at Best Buy, they don't sell them anymore, so now you have to find them for $100+ on eBay.
