I posted this elsewhere, but it's on my work G5 for a little while at least.

Depending on what happens tonight, it may stick around on Monday. And, then, if it stays on Monday it might go down on Tuesday or stay up for a long time. I know that's a lot of what-ifs, but one has to keep up with current events :)

The keyboard may either be gone on Monday or Tuesday, or may also become a permanent fixture. It's a Unicomp Model M, which is the same as the old IBM Model M buckling spring(Unicomp was spun off from the keyboard division of Lexmark in the 90s, which in turn inherited it from IBM). As much as I may realize it's heresy to say around here, I have to say that I type better on the Buckling Spring than I can on an Alps-switched Extended II. I'm not sure that my co-workers appreciate my use of a buckling spring keyboard, though :)

When I visited the Unicomp factory last week to pick up parts, they told me that they actually still had requests for this particular keyboard. The lady who helped me was shocked when I said I'd paid $5 for it at a flea market.

That was a depressing loss... I was watching it.

Yes it was, but Wisconsin played the better game tonight-especially in the last 5 minutes. It was a heck of a game to watch, and was a nail biter for 35 minutes. I've been saying all week that it would be the game of the year, and don't think I was wrong.

I bleed UK blue and have since I was born(my mom still jokes about the doctor hurrying her along so that he didn't miss the UK game-and that was back in the bad Eddie Sutton years!), but am not afraid to give credit where credit is due. I wish Wisconsin all the luck in the next game, especially since they are going in to face the devil(i.e. Duke).

I have a bad tendency to change wallpaper all the time.

Current as of tonight…

Repeat 5x for the other displays.

Heh I see you also hate duke... But it was a very good game and as u said, the last 5 minutes was epic. Wisconsin just needs to beat duke and everything may turn out fairly ok. As my dad said, this may have been the only time to see a team to go 40-0, but wound up only being 38-1... Kinda like the Paitriots when the Giants rektd them in the Super Bowl, bawhahahahaha.

No, it is OS X Leopard related though. Think something along the lines of the Leopard install process.

Is it the music that plays when the "Welcome to Leopard" screen appears before running set-up assistant?

It always reminded me a bit of the theme music to the '90s cartoon "Doug", which I grew up watching :)

Give the man a prize! He is correct! That space background kinda looks similar to the welcome screen musical intro background.

Doot doot do doo doot, doot doot do doo doot, doo doo doodly doo. doo doo doo doo doo doo, doodie, doo doo doo doo doodie. Can anyone guess what that song is?

Exodus Honey by Honeycut. Also played in the commercial of the 2007 aluminium+black iMac.

I know what it is now that you said it, and I had a feeling that was what it was when I first saw it, but it also sounds like the radio song from the original Portal, or still alive sped up with just a beat and no words.

Back to boring today-a membrane Apple Pro keyboard and all. I got some death threats from co-workers over the Unicomp :)
