My MacBook's desktop, obviously. This spacescape was done as a tribute to the late Chesley Bonestell. It's a recreation of his piece "Saturn as Seen from Titan." Original here.

This is my iTouch home screen. "Near The Moon," painted by cosmonaut Aleksey Leonov, the first man to go EVA in space, and was also a member of the Apollo-Soyuz joint mission in 1975. The painting can be accessed from the Wikipedia page.

Saw an article on this new app called Satellite Eyes, HAD to try it out when I heard it had a watercolor feature. Love it. It changes your wallpaper depending on where your location is. Uses Bing and OpenStreetMap data.

Looks like the standard dock and then a geektool weather widget on the left. The searchbox is probably either a dashboard widget (you can get them to show outside of the dashboard with a bit of trickery) or a yahoo widget.

and your dock, how is the weather on the left side of your dock? and the dock itself, how did you do that????

Thanks very much! About this Mirrage I assume you make dock invisible and use photoshop to make a "dock on the wallpaper"?

Anybody, know how that would work if you changed your resolutions? Because I have a retina mac book pro that will change resolution from time to time depending on the work.. will that f... up the dock?
