Command+Option+D mapped to the F13 key should do the trick.

Not too bad for starters, but it looks like you still have a lot left that could be customized - consider it a work in progress. :)

I'm definitely still working on it. These things take me a while (and I've been spending to much time picking a background, which I seem to change my mind on every 5 minutes).

No worries - with those 2 sites I provided you, your biggest problem will be deciding on which icons to use! ;)

So true. I'm bad with choices. Sometimes when I go to the movies I wish they would only have 2 types of candybars, that way, I don't have to think about it. :p

I've made some changes to mine lately... got a bit longer :)p) and I've still not made up my mind whether I like it showing or hiding. Magnification is off, naturally... ;)

From the top: Finder iTunes Mail Firefox Vienna | Downloads Work Trash

And remember: Right side is the right side to have the Dock! :D

Nice a simple here. I only leave icons on there that I use frequently:

That's the way I like to keep mine as well - no need for a cluttered dock (unless of course you use 30 apps on a regular basis, which I know some people do!) For me, and the apps I use, a nice minimal dock is just fine. :)

How do you take a screenie of your dock?

cmd-shift-4 lets you select the size of your screenshot (as opposed to cmd-shift-3 which does the whole screen). It is then saved to your desktop as a PDF, which you can then subsequently export as a JPEG using Preview.
